"We paid close to $20,000 to BQ Basements to completely waterproof our basement. We still get water and they told us we need another sump pump installed at over $2,000. They guaranteed we would not get water after installation. Be aware they do not stand behind their work or honor warranties."

"I was in a pinch when my regular snow removal guy went MIA and needed snow cleared immediately. I was hustling to find someone quickly and messaged Milton when it was already late at night. He responded almost immediately and came out the next morning. Milton showed up on time and payed great attention to detail. The job was originally for just the front walk and sidewalk and before I could even ask him to do the back too so I could get my trash cans out he had it already done! Great guy who actually cares and would definitely hire him for future projects. Thanks again! "

"We are very satisfied with the demolition and complete rebuilding of our full bathroom during August 2025. It is beautiful! We were fortunate to have Francisco of MC Home Improvements do this work for us. Francisco is a reliable, thorough, neat craftsman who was helpful with design suggestions. We are also pleased with the plumbing upgrade Francisco did in the basement of our 85 year old home. We highly recommend MC Home Improvements if you need to remodel your bathroom, especially if Francisco does the work. "

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Mountainside, NJ

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
