"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "At firs there were some issues with getting in touch with Brad, the owner. After several days after calling to inquire about my leaking roof, he called me back. Brad was out the next day to inspect the roof and advised me that it would not pass an inspection, due to our house being for sale I asked him for some estimates on several different options. It took about two weeks with a couple of phone calls to get the estimate. Once I confirmed with him that I wanted the new roof with repairs to the rotten wood his crew was out within two days and was done in a day and a half. My only complaint about the job was that there was quite a bit of trash left in the yard along with some cigarette butts. I also didn't ever receive a receipt for the work with the warranty. It appears to me that they did a good job and based on some conversations with a couple of general contractors I know, it seems like I got a reasonable price. I would hire this company again."

"Mike provided a quick response to my inquiry call and we arranged a date/time for him to do the work. He followed up via text on the service date and he arrived promptly. Although it was very cold with ice on the ground, he worked efficiently to repair the siding and downspout. It's been about 5 weeks since the repair and have had no issues.
