They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. "I paid for a one hundred dollar roof repair. I know this is cheap but they came out and quoted $1100.00 for some tar around the chimney and tuckpointing . Or $2600.00 for flashing. It seems a bit high. I just bought a new 16x7 garage door with a motor, tracks, and three openers installed for $1000.00. Materials--tar and cement compared to a steel door, motor, tracks and openers. So it would be 1000.00 for labor. Maybe a few hours. I know grinding cement is not easy but we are talking about $200.00 per hour. A little high."
