"My first experience with LTD was when I accepted a Deal from Angie's list for the repair of drywall. The Deal was two hours of work for $99. Erin, one of the owners of the family business, came to my home on time. He is a young man, full of energy, well spoken, friendly and appropriately dressed for work. He got to work right away after I showed him the places in need of repair. He didn't "fiddle-faddle" around; he worked with a steady pace, going through the various steps necessary to properly mend the drywall breaks. In all he spent almost four hours working, but did not suggest additional payment. I gave him $50 more because I felt he deserved additional compensation. He did a beautiful job of making the repairs, and I want other Angie's List members to know he is the best of the workers I have used in the past. He told me the company is comprised of other members of his family. I spoke with his sister, Sam when I called for an appointment the second time and she is also a delightful person to talk to and was deligent in scheduling an additional job. My second experience with LTD was when a bathroom toilet in a rental home sprang a leak, causing water to run under the tile and into an adjoining bedroom and soaking into the carpet. Erin agreed to come out the following day, and he found the problem was a leaky valve that had to be replaced. He also planned ahead just in case it was something other than what I thought the problem was (faulty flange) by being sure he had a value in stock just in case. He also had available the "guts" inside the water tank if that needed to be replaced. It had not been replaced for at least three years, so he did that as well. He also took a look at a possible leak in a bedroom and suggested it might be because the A/C drain needed to be cleaned out, so he sucked the slime and debris from the line. For these two services he charged $75. Another advantage of this company is that they can make repairs of just about anything having to do with a residence. They even build homes from the bottom up. Erin says if he can't do a job or feels it would be best to have another person do the work he will tell you and will recommend someone he knows will do a good job. I will be making an appointment this next week for him to replace toe-stops and an end panel resulting from water damage. And I also plan to have him take a look at an entry door that has rusted to tell me if it can be repaired or if it should be replaced. Whatever it needs I will have Evin do the work."
