"Brian, called back the same day of request a quote. He stated they could come out 2 days later to do the work. He gave me a quote via email. I actually made wrong sq ft notice to Brian. Once out and work was completed. He knocked off additional money. The work was done quick and professional. Clean up and removal was great! He quoted $2700. Cheaper then the plumber I had quoted . "

Small jobs welcome

"Highly recommend working with EnviroGo. Harrison was really helpful with explaining everything from the beginning, the work (asbestos tile removal) was quickly scheduled and completed by Mose and his team, for what I felt was a reasonable price. Communication from all parties including Noreen at the office was fantastic. The air quality results took a little longer to come back than hoped but I never felt left in the lurch due to Noreen's communication and updates. Great company and customer service!"

"Outstanding service. I contacted Paul to get an estimate to scrape our ceilings (had outdated popcorn), and then we had to go out of town unexpectedly. I had emailed him photos of the rooms and my measurements of square footage. I called him on our way back, on a Tuesday, to confirm the job and gave him a $100 deposit over the phone. On Wednesday his subcontractor, Ruben, called me and set up for Thursday, and by that evening they were done, all popcorn gone and everything cleaned up. I emailed him a photo of a check for the balance and that was it. The simplest process of any home repair we have ever had done. "

"I've used Prime multiple times and the service provided has been excellent every time. They're responsive, their pricing is competitive, and they're flexible on delivery and pick-up hours. I rarely get out of work at a consistent time, so it really helps that they aren't as rigid as their competitors. I honestly wish I had started using them sooner!"

"From the first phone call asking for an inspection and "diagnosis", we were 100% satisfied. Their knowledge and professionalism is incredible, they were here within 2 business days to do the inspection, and the work was performed the 3rd business day. The three guys who came (1 to inspect, diagnosis, and to get the 2 man crew started on the work), were simply amazing, courteous, careful, explained everything well, and the 2 guys who did the work were 2 of the hardest working guys we have ever seen. They were respectful of our home, their work ethic was 100% excellent, their integrity showed through 100%, and we felt 100% comfortable with their being here for most of the day. We received a call back to ask how things went 2 days after the work and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone we know who needs any work from them. Simply incredible company and employees - every single one of them."

"Excellent and pleasant service from everyone at Upcoming. From the initial consultation to the completed project, everything was done on time and within the quoted price. They were very respectful of our property, with careful handling of the materials required and the materials removed. They made what we were expecting to be a terrible situation almost pleasant. Would definitely recommend them."

FAQs for asbestos abatement projects in Muskegon, MI

Asbestos is a group of six naturally occurring mineral fibers once commonly used in building materials because of their resistance to heat, electricity, and corrosion. However, in 1975, research confirmed that these fibers cause mesothelioma and other cancers, leading to strict usage laws. If your home contains asbestos, removing it can prevent long-term health effects. You'll often find asbestos in the flooring, ceilings, pipes, and roofing of homes built before the 1990s. Common asbestos-containing materials include vermiculite insulation, vinyl flooring, millboard, and corrugated roofing. If you suspect you have asbestos or any of these materials in your home, it's important to hire a reputable abatement company to perform testing.

Currently, there is no federal licensing mandate for asbestos removal contractors. However, certain cities and states require certification and specialized training. For example, in some areas, contractors handling asbestos must receive an Asbestos Handler Certification. Be sure to check your local laws to ensure any contractor you hire meets the necessary requirements.

Homes constructed before the 1990s can conceal asbestos within building materials, and testing provides a definitive answer. You should have your home tested by a certified asbestos inspection service. This professional evaluation identifies hazardous materials and determines whether removal or encapsulation is necessary. Testing safeguards your family’s health and supports smart budgeting for remediation.

Federal law does not require you to disclose the presence of asbestos when selling your home. However, certain states and local jurisdictions impose disclosure regulations that you must follow. Testing and professional remediation confirm that hazardous materials are properly managed. This proactive approach not only meets legal requirements but also protects your property’s value and buyer health.

Asbestos removal affects a home’s resale value because hazardous materials can deter potential buyers. Having toxic substances present lowers buyer confidence and may reduce the property’s value by 1% to 15% if not addressed. Professional remediation ensures safety standards are met and preserves marketability, protecting your long-term investment.

Grants exist at both federal and state levels to support asbestos testing and removal projects. Local housing programs may also offer financial assistance when asbestos is discovered during home repairs. Meeting certification and testing standards is required to secure these funds, which help to manage overall project costs while ensuring safe remediation.
