I wanted a camera down to locate my septic tank. Plumber had to go back for it, but got back in short time. "The water department knocked on my front door one morning about 10am informing me that our water was being shut off. A neighbor had reported a gushing water leak coming from near our water meter. A supervisor from Stone Creek Plumbing was here within 2 hours and a worker was digging up the mess within the next 45 minutes. I was very grateful they were quick to respond. It's no fun to be without water! The repair was made and the hole covered back in by about 3pm. The worker informed me along the way what he was doing, where the failure was and its cause, and he explained the type of replacement connection he was using. He cleaned up the area as best he could. I can't imagine this situation going any better!"

"1) Outside faucet was replaced and works great. 2) Tech found and removed a bit of plastic that we couldn't find. Noise gone. 3) Problem determined to be a bad solenoid. He didn't have the part but he did put me in touch with Delta to order it. I'll have to put it in myself or pay another service call. 4) Tried to repair with new flapper balls (which I had already tried). Dye revealed slow leak continued, so he replaced one entire flush assembly which stopped the leak. He only had one kit on his truck though, so the other one I will have to replace. That's annoying. The professionalism downgrade is due to 1) the wet-vac he used to suck water out of the toilet tank sprayed fine drops of wet, greasy water across my bathroom. I was right there and cleaned it up in a few minutes with paper towels (and threw the dirtied rug in the washer). I told him it was no big deal, but it was annoying that he didn't apologize. He just said "it has a filter" like it hadn't just happened right in front of me. 2) He later dribbled a little blue-dyed water across the clean upstairs bathroom floor as he was going back out to his truck. My wife found it and was angrily asking me what happened (upstairs) when he came back in. He yelled "because I'm an idiot" and went upstairs. I thought that was his way of apologizing but no -- he was angry because he wrongly thought my wife called him that. She didn't, and she told him so. He said "I thought that's what I heard". My wife was so upset at being falsely accused she left the house. When he was all done and ready to leave I confronted him on this, telling him I was there and my wife did not call him an idiot and that she is not one to say such things. He finally apologized, but my wife wasn't there to hear it. Finally, he spent 15 minutes or more working up the bill. I thought I would get details on what each repair cost, but the receipt only had totals. I thought it was a little expensive, but I don't have much experience with plumbing costs. I was happy to get 10% off because we are also an HVAC customer."
