Get matched with top major home repair pros (general contractors) in Myakka City, FL

"For some of those reading this who are new to Florida and Manatee County I would tell you that there is much more red tape involved in getting work done by contractors than I have ever experienced and itâ s the only thing that slowed the process down."

"This was a big project and took several months to complete (in part because we needed at least one working bathroom at all times and because we took time off for the holidays, both Thanksgiving and Christmas). Throughout the project, owners Lisa and Mark were in constant communication with us -- in person, by phone, and by email and text. They coordinated the plumbing and countertop people for us, and picked up supplies as needed, delivering them in a timely manner. Several of their team worked on the project including Dan, Sean, and Steve. Dan completed the majority of the work on all three bathrooms (about 90%) -- at all times, he was professional, courteous, punctual, and just an overall great guy. He took obvious pride in his work and was meticulous, never rushing or cutting corners, and always cleaned up his work space each day -- we could not have asked for a more dedicated professional. This was our first experience with a large remodeling job, and we were beyond pleased with the process and the outcome. The bathrooms are beautiful, and we will enjoy them for years to come. We would not hesitate to use Smith Remodeling again and would highly recommend them for any job, large or small."

"Our bath remodel is now complete. What a FANTASTIC job!!! It was quite a process, but Scott did a great job in the coordination of all the contractors and workers and always kept things moving along smoothly. Any little hiccups along the way were handled immediately and perfectly. Every step of the way, Scott was sure everything was perfect and to our complete satisfaction. This remodel came out better than we ever imagined. Thanks to everyone at Gilbert Design that helped put it all together for us."

"If there were six stars to choose from, that would be the rating I would give for the service provided. They were efficient, on time, and had a very professional and friendly personality, doing an amazing job repairing my ceiling. I will be using them for future handyman projects!"

"What a easy way to get your home remodeling projects done. Bronson walked us through the entire process and timeline. It was such a great experience from start to finish. I never felt like other parts of my house were a complete mess with construction. The budget we agreed on was met. Bronson is extremely friendly and communicates great until the project is finished. Thank you again!!"

"So easy to work with. Timely, and professional. Totally satisfied. The pergola they built for me is beautiful. I can easily recommend them. They told me i would be happy and I am. Thanks guys. I will use you again. Recommending you to anyone that is looking for an honest and dependable contractor."

"The work was perfect. The installer put the molding up with very little disruption to our daily routine. He arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The painted came the following day and completed his work in one day. The owner stopped in both days to check the work and the final payment was made when we were satisfied with the job. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this company."

"He created and built our custom kitchen. In this kitchen, he also included a 11 foot island with a bar that I love. He's done much work around the rest of the house too. Any time I need something done, I call Troy. I would recommend them to anybody needing similar work. He works with integrity - which means to me that he does what he says and he says what he does. That is helpful in today's market, because timing and scheduling can be a pain-point with contractors sometimes. I can't think of one thing that he hasn't done to my complete satisfaction."

"Simply stated, the entire experience went wonderfully! From the very first meeting, through the demolition, until the last tile, fixture, or piece of hardware was placed. Everyone that entered my home carried themselves with the utmost professionalism, and each showed their expertise in their work. This is my first home, and the first time for a remodel and I could not have asked for a better company to take me through this process. I would recommend Sarasota's Best Construction and Flooring to anyone that asks."
