"This is the second time I have used 1st Source for remodeling. First time was to move wall, create a unique entry way, and improve line of sight in the house. The result was just what I wanted, and unique and pretty stunning. On time and under budget. Latest project was a complete kitchen remodel. Everything was demolished. New kitchen island created with sink, counter and dishwasher (that required cracking concrete and moving plumbing. All new kitchen cabinets, pantry, counters, backsplash, flooring. The project came out perfect. Achieve what I wanted including maximizing space, cabinets, and again, a uniqueness to distinguish my home from others in the neighborhood. All quality products, new appliances, wonderful sub-contractors, CLEAN, exacting, responsive. This major project also came in on-time and under budget, even when additions/changes were made on the fly. Jon is so easy to work with, and collaborative. There is not another professional with whom I would want to do business. You can take advice, and trust that what is being told is to achieve the desired outcome. "Highly recommend Carpenter Construction! Family run business, Ron and his son Jake are terrific to work with. And their regular team (for us it was JP and Courtney along w Jake and Ron) are Outstanding!! We had two bathrooms completely remodeled this Spring....and because of the unforeseen shut down, they did this without us being around as we d planned. They are so professional, courteous, knowledgeable and honest. Their workmanship is excellent! There were no surprises w the cost or the timing. They used FaceTime to call us and show us work in progress. And the end result on both bathrooms (plus painting of adjoining bedrooms) was superb! So much so that we immediately hired them back to do our master bath next month! (I ll try to attach photos)."

"The addition of my screened-in porch was a bit tricky due to the fact that there was a bump-out in the roof where the eat-in kitchen was. Mike helped me to decide on the final plan by drawing a very specific, detailed drawing of what it would look like completed. He checked in with his workers periodically to see that everything was coming along as planned. His workers were courteous and they cleaned the work site at the end of each work day. Due to the horrible rainy weather, completion of my porch was delayed but that was expected and I had no 'time limit' set. I cannot say for sure about the value for money as he was the only one who returned to me with an estimate, but, having had one put on my old house, I think his price was fair. I am completely satisfied with the work done and very pleased with the fact that it does not look like an addition because it blends in so well with the homes structure. I would definitely refer anyone interested in remodeling or an addition to Mike Dutton."

"I needed an exterior door cut out and add 2 windows from the 3 windows that were already there and add steps. Chris and Frank knew exactly how to do the job and was very tedious and meticulous on every detail down to making sure the spindles on the railing of the new porch was safe for my little dogs. Their work ethics were great too. I am 100% satisfied with their work and will be turning to them for more of my upgrades in the future."
