"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. "Wonderful. There are few things worse than going down to your basement and finding muddy water pooled on the floor. We were able to take care of the standing water; however, we had to find the source of the leak. We called MJ Home and they were able to come out the same day, give an assessment, and by that evening we had an estimate. "The biggest problem I had with this company was responsiveness before the work was done. After calling them to use the coupon, it took a while to get them to my house to do an estimate. Then it took over a week to actually get the estimate so I could schedule the work. And then two weeks to get on the schedule.
With that said, the person they sent did a FANTASTIC job. I had a section of rotted wood above my entry door and it had been a problem area for years apparently. The last time I had to have the wood replaced the previous owners had not told me about termite damage behind this section. Anyway, this time around the service person said that we would fix it right.
He scraped out all of the damaged wood and replaced the damaged section with a PVC-based solution so I'll never have to worry about it rotting again. All I have to do is keep it painted and caulked.
I'm VERY happy. It looks great. He was very pleasant, friendly, professional. He explained everything to me and he worked until he finished.
The likelihood that the 3 hours included in the coupon will cover your work when there is rot involved --it took 6 hours and the materials cost $160.00. With that said, it could've ended up costing a lot more so I definitely recommend taking advantage of the coupon deal if they offer it again.

"Flood Doctor was called after heavy rains flooded our basement. They came out immediately and started working. They packed out everything and moved it out of the basement. After which they extracted all the water from our basement and placed equipment there for several days to dry everything. My mother and I were very pleased with the level of professionalism and responsiveness of the flood doctor crew. 
Their team at the office was also just as helpful when it came time for us to file an insurance claim. This being our 1st claim for our home we had no idea where to start. They documented everything and gave us everything that

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

The first was ok but cold and impersonal. Stallings was the second call I made and instantly felt like we were more than just another "job". The first question we were asked was if we were all ok. From that moment to meeting both the lead estimator and the owner at our home, and meeting the ladies in the office, everyone was not only extremely professional, but compassionate and so knowledgeable. Every question we had they answered clearly and eased every concern. Our repairs were done so well it looked like a complete remodel instead of just a repair. We have already scheduled for them to do other work for us not insurance related! Couldn't ask for a better bunch of guys. Love that their local, too!"
