"We purchased a smaller house than desired however it did have the acreage we wanted. So...., we decided to build since this was our retirement home. Moore Construction (I have used several times over the years) provided the estimate and we agreed upon price. The remodeling consisted of a new roof, new windows, doors,??and siding on the original structure. Both bathrooms were also remodeled with new cabinets, vinyl?and showers.? Many other smaller changes were made such as?closet?shelves and new?ceiling tiles in the downstairs apartment.?New construction included a large sun room, and converting existing garage into a bathroom, pantry and laundry room.?To this, we added two additional rooms and a garage.?Also, a side deck. We had several growing pains with a project this large however it all worked out to a beautiful and functional home.?Would I recommend Moore Construction - Absolutely!"

"We had an older home which needed a complete kitchen and bath update. Our remodeling job required extensive skills in carpentry, drywall, plumbing, cabinetry, finish trim work and painting. My wife and I were delighted with the finished appearance and the quality of the work. From start to finish, we were also impressed with the speed and efficiency of the entire process. In addition, we were happy to see how every effort was made to maintain a clean and safe work area."

"I hired Wood Renovation to power wash and stain my deck as well as replace some rotted boards. They did a good job replacing the boards, but they also missed a rotted board, which was not replaced. They did a good job power washing and staining the floor of the deck, but they only used one coat of solid stain on the floor, which was not enough. The Sherwin Williams stain they used even says to use two coats. The ornamental caps that sit on top of the balusters were covered with old, chipping paint, and they did not sand them prior to staining. The owner, Steve, indicated that he normally doesn't include sanding in a bid, but he did come out and try to sand off some of the chipping paint. They also used a paint sprayer for the deck railings, which did not completely cover any of the railings and instead got on my landscaping. I had to have Steve come back out two different times to touch up every railing. Fortunately, he was very nice and accommodating about it. Overall, the quality of the work was not worth $996."

Marty, the Estimator was very helpful, took pictures and described what needed to be done. He was laid back and its refreshing to have someone who comes from help instead of trying sell me something. All the crew was very helpful, informative keeping me apprised of the progress and work. Every day they did a wonderful job of cleaning up, especially since my crawlspace access is in the garage. At completion, the Installers sat down with me and described everything they had done with great detail. Also, a superb job of clean at the end of the job in the crawlspace. I would recommend them to anybody."
