"We have a home that was built in 1930, that is loaded with charm but needed some adapting to our family’s needs. It had two too many doors and one large window that we never used because it looked directly at the neighbor’s driveway! We also needed to have new windows and floors installed, custom bookshelves built, and of course new paint. We decided to hire Fred because from Day One you could tell he was someone that was knowledgable and someone you can trust. Having someone you can trust to do projects in your home is so important because they become a part of your lives for at least a month or so! Fred took care of everything: the supples, installation, paint, and making sure that the brick installers completed the job successfully as well. I now have an office that used to be an “all weather” porch that I can actually be in all day, another office/second bedroom that has more wall space thanks to the seamless work Fred did in closing up a large window and door (not to mention it was with plaster!) He was really precise in doing “delicate demo” since we were trying to save as much of the old house charm as possible. We were even able to use one of the doors in my new office, and it looks beautiful. Cost wise, everything was up front and there were no surprises (even though he was very gracious about us adding items along the way (like extra plugs and installing a storm door). We also had our attic re-insulated and part of our floor lifted which Fred took care of as well. He communicated with us every step along the way, which is also so important. We hope to have a custom closet installed in the near future and will definitely call Fred to do that project as well! 10/10 recommend Fred Oakley for your home renovations!"

"Tristar built an attached garage addition on our home in Brentwood. This job included all new concrete driveway and circular driveway with expanded walkways and stairs. We also had all the whole house sofets removed and replaced and all new gutters and some siding replaced and all new paint. The Garage was concrete block, core filled brick exterior, high ceilings, insulated 3 windows, 2 people doors and a garage door and two new electric panel boxes. TJ Burk the Owner was excellent from start to finish, He knows his stuff and his suggestions and ideas gave us just what we wanted. But more so he listened to whatever we wanted and was careful to get it even better. The exterior brick match was superb, electric work and masonry all excellent. Roofing siding gutters and 65 yards of driveway concrete alone all flawless. Job estimate was exact, from beginning to end. Honest, fair, experienced and the Builder is a UT grad with a Vanderbilt MBA. Simply the best. Some may be as good, but you will not find a better builder. Small job or whole house, just call TJ Burk."

"We hired American Services of Tn, LLC to build a sunroom on our existing patio. This company did an amazing job. The contractor was a joy to work with. He listened to our ideas and added a few of his suggestions. The work was done with great attention to detail. The workers were very skilled, neat and conscientious. The room was built in only 7 weeks start to finish. The entire crew did a fantastic job and I will be calling them again when I have a renovation project."

"Having quoted with 3 companies we selected KM Home Improvement based on cost, timing & reviews. Like others' reviews we were pleasantly surprised with cost & timing! Ali & his team were prompt, professional and perfectionists. We wanted to remodel our master bathroom & put in hardwood floors in our master bedroom & closet. Master bath consisted of removing existing shower, tub, floor, vanity and install new (free standing tub, framless shower, tile floors/wall/niche, etc.) They worked with us to make sure our vision was aligned every step along the way. They offered suggestions as well. We were slightly concerned during the pandemic, but they were already wearing gloves & masks due to the construction. Each night they cleaned up the area. Every person was extremely respectful of our home, dog, space, etc. Work was done on time. It was a pleasure to work with them and would gladly recommend them and use them again!"
