"Unbelievably thorough! Highest quality! Amazing results! Len Creech came recommended by a friend who had used his services. I gave him a call and he came out and did a thorough inspection and gave me a highly detailed estimate. We discussed the problematic areas and how he would approach the cleaning. While his estimate was higher than what I had received from a competitor who did a mediocre job, I am happy to report that his service was worth every dime. He spent a total of 8-10 hours on the job and our carpet literally looks brand new! I cannot recommend him highly enough. The old adage you get what you pay for is true. I paid more than the mediocre service (out of respect I am not naming them), but my results were fantastic! Do not waste your time on other carpet cleaning services! Hands down the best I have EVER had! Happy to more than highly recommend him to all! You won’t be disappointed!"

"I've had my carpets cleaned by them for years but I've about decided I'm not going to call them back this year. I've worked with them for years and years and it's the same people, I don't know if they were just in a hurry that day but I was really surprised after they left. I move what furniture I can. When my husband was here, we pretty much everything out of their way even though we weren't required to. This time, I moved everything out of the way except the 2 big lounge chairs. They're supposed to move furniture that they can. After they left I realized they had not moved the chairs. Since they had kind of been pushed forward a  little bit, they were actually sitting on the dirty spot what I really wanted cleaned. I did call and complain to them about it and told them I was very unhappy with that. They did offer to come back and redo it. I think they would have made it right. I was just very surprised it happened in the first place because I was very familiar with the actual people that came. I don't know, I may call  to have them come back one more time this year and just talk to them about all that first and see what I think after they leave this time. Overall, through all the years they have been a really good company. It may have been a rushed day or something for them. The price is very reasonable. The people have always been very nice. I didn't find anything wrong with their attitude on anything. Speaking from all the times they've come I'd probably give them an A. They've always been very responsive. They usually call me about a year or sometimes 6 months, but always at least a year later and offer me a special in the neighborhood. That's when I have them come do it. They've always been punctual."

"We couldn't be happier with our new SmartStrand carpet installed by the Carpet Ladies Company...it feels like walking on air! The entire process was very smooth; from the initial consultation with Constance, who patiently took several hours to make sure we chose the right carpet/pad for our color scheme, but also discussed the differences in brands/price ranges/comfort, etc. We felt that she truly cared about making sure we chose the right carpet for our home. After the consultation, we worked with the Owner, Kathy Ranalli, who couldn't have been more friendly and professional. When we talked to her initially, and then again to set the installation date, the conversations were very comfortable, and we felt as if we had known her for a long time! The installation went very smoothly, and the installers were extremely professional, friendly, and efficient! We were enjoying our carpet just minutes after the installation. We would highly recommend the Carpet Ladies Company for any type of flooring installation needs, as they truly care about doing things the right way, and giving the customers the value they deserve! We are extremely happy with our carpet, and especially happy that we chose the Carpet Ladies Company for this project!"

"This company was very professional from start to finish.  They sent somebody to measure the room and promptly called me later that day with an estimate which was more than reasonable.  They were very accommodating to our schedule and sent two installers on a day that was convenient to us.  The installation took most of the day and the installers were excellent.  I had used Volume Carpet Sales to install tile in a small guest bathroom several years ago and we were repeat customers with this most recent carpet installation.  I highly recommend this business---they are flooring experts. <br />"

"We are happy with our experience at Buddy Allen Carpet One. On the day we visited the showroom to shop for kitchen tile, Judson thoroughly explained their products and processes. We were impressed with the installers, Jerry and Bristol. They were hardworking and professional, arriving on time and completing the work within the three day time frame that Judson had estimated. The tile installation appears flawless with special care taken to fit all the awkward nooks and crannies as well as all the open areas in our breakfast room, kitchen and pantry."

"The time took a little bit longer than the salesman said, but I had approximated it very well. Carpets (of two different ages) look great. A few stains on the upholstery did not come out, and look worse. In fairness, I do not know how old the stains are since I inherited the furniture recently."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Nashville, TN

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
