"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"Large area that had been blocked because I had boxes that had not been removed. There was mold around the west masonry wall and into the closet area on the north wall which was also masonry. We found this when the drywall was removed and in addition there was mold in the drywall area where the semi finished basement separates from the unfinished basement. This was primarily mold that was in the concrete basement floor extending into the wall and extended to the furnishing that were on the floor that was in proximity to the area, the semi finished portion to the unfinished but they did not treat the drywall area because again that was drywall and because they mainly focused on the masonry. In terms of Wichita, they are probably one of the few specialist. They are clearly a specialist, and they clearly have the credential based on my understanding and my discussion with them. They have the certification that would be the legal qualification in the documents to back it up. They were working under some conflict with a firm that came in to do the flood and water mitigation. They were there at the same time when they came to inspect the mold. There were some difference of opinion and the ACM staff were fairly persistent that it was very important to remove the material so they can actually get to the masonry. There were conflict with the staff that they did not believe that the mold mitigation people should remove the covering that was drywall and combination of cedar covering that could not determined what was underneath until it was removed. ACL insisted that the covering be removed to determine what was underneath. I approved it and went ahead they found that indeed the mold had extended. They were spot on right. I thought that was professional in their part that they did not blackout."

"David was prompt, very pleasant and very polite. Something that impressed me was when I made the appt, the receptionist told me what type and color of vehicle David would be driving, and said David would show me his ID before coming in. He was extremely thorough, and very respectful as he went through the house. The many pictures he took were helpful, as well as proof, that I had a mold problem. He had the report ready within 2-3 days, and he offered both a hard copy, which would be mailed, as well as an email attachment, Which I could download right away. Since I chose the email form, I have been able to forward it to the companies who will do the cleanup and repairs. This has sped up the process. The report was extremely thorough and detailed. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the whole process! <br />"

"While you and I were enjoying our day off on September 4th (Labor Day), Craig Lester, of Lester Inspection, was conducting a very thorough inspection of the Stucco exterior on my new town home purchase. Craig responded immediately on August, 31st to a call from my buyer's agent, Doug Mitts, inquiring about Craig coming out on the 4th. We were up against an inspection deadline at midnight on the 5th. Craig delivered, and then some. He spent approximately 4 hours, scouring and testing the Stucco exterior section by section. He displayed tremendous professionalism, and explained in great detail the tests he was conducting, both verbally to my buyer's agent, and then written in a very detailed and complete report. Not only did he test the Stucco completely and thoroughly, he also provided feedback and guidance on an item of concern from the home inspection report regarding potential water entry in the basement. I would recommend Lester Inspection Services, at [*** Link removed ***] for all of your inspection needs. And he only tested the Stucco!!!"

"PuroClean showed up and began immediately to dry the damage floors. They also worked with our insurance company helping them understand the damage caused by the leak in a very short time, like less than a week. They were professional and provided Value for the their work including drying the damp areas from below the floor and above removing the possibility of a mold issue."

"The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Ness City, KS

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
