"BD Innovations responded to my posting immediately. Mr. Feliks Petrosiants came the next day and provided a quote on the spot. He offered to do additional work that was needed in connection with the fence repair, all of which was well below the other quotes that I received. He and his associate worked diligently, and upon completion, he made a small repair to my porch railing for no charge. He is very courteous and professional, and I will indeed contact him when I need work done in the future."

"We needed about 100 linear feet of 4 ft picket fence stained. We got quotes from $600 to $2000, which seemed like a pretty wide spread for a fairly straightforward project. Considering we've been burned by contractors a few times in the past, we were a little hesitant to go with the "cheapest" quote. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but we just couldn't understand how so many companies were justifying 2 to 3+ times his quote. In the end, Cyle did an excellent job. He showed up on time, and worked well. The finished product looks great. I have no idea how paying an extra $1000+ dollars would have resulted in a better end product. We highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again for any future painting/staining needs."

"Mark was extremely professional and thorough in the work that he did for me. I needed two smaller projects completed (door frame repair from wind damage and some flooring repair) and I am very satisfied with the work that was done and the cost was reasonable. I look forward to hiring Mark again for other work as it comes up."

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
