"I was recommended to Fine Point Painting by my parents. In the past my parents had bad luck with contractors who gave meaning to the term, Jack of All Trades Master at None. I grew up doubting contractors but Bill and his crew were fantastic. When he came out to do the bid he answered all of my questions and was thorough on explaining to me the reasons. When I had additional questions/concerns he was quick to reply via email.
The house we purchased to put it nicely, was in bad shape. Previously, it was a rental which I'm sure you can imagine the state
it was in. It also had termite damage in which Bill advised me to have the paint job done after the fumigation tenting. Apparently,
fumigation causes fresh paint to peel!!! Thank goodness we painted after the tenting.
We had the whole works done on the interior. The acoustic popcorn on the ceiling was removed, sanded, textured, primed, and
painted throughout the house. Also, the trim, doors and cabinets had oil based paint which needed to be sanded and primed in order for the latex paint to stick. The walls were sanded as well to remove embedded hair follicles and pebbles that were painted in the walls from the previous painter. Most of the interior of the house and entire garage smelled of animal urine and they pressure washed the garage with a cleaning solution to eliminate the smell. There were numerous cracks on the walls and ceilings which they filled. There were also 8 giant holes in the walls that they patched. They did an amazing job on the patchwork since you can't tell they were there!!! His crew was professional, courteous and they came on time. Also, they cleaned up after themselves very well. And this is coming from someone who is borderline OCD.
There were no hidden fees or added fees tacked on at the end. What made it easier for us was a payment plan which was broken down into 3 payment installations. This meant we paid them after each chunk of work was completed. I have heard stories where people have paid contractors upfront and the contractors run away with money or they don't finish the project.
If Angie's List had +'s and -'s I would give them A+'s. There are no words to express how pleased we are with Fine Point Painting. Our house looks amazing, the garage has no smell and I will hire them again for future projects.

"They sent a measuring form for our table which was easy to use.  We sent the measurements in and received the table pads within the time frame that was promised.  The pads fit the table perfectly and look very nice.

"I got together with 4 neighbors to obtain quotes to replace the common fences between our properties. We tried 3 other suppliers first, and had some issue with all of those quotes.
Based on the Angie's list recommendation I then contacted Cueva's. We were pleased with the quote process, and felt like this was the best way to go.
Our experience was consistent with the high reviews, and I will break down as follows: 
1. Overall punctuality and Responsiveness: (A) Excellent. Hugh is very responsive, the scheduling is efficient, all arrivals were on-time, and the work was done very quickly. 
2. Quote process: (A) very smooth. Fidel provided a hand-drawn diagram, with each section labelled and the cost broken out separately. I used that to build a spreadsheet to assign the cost per neighbor. 
3. Price (A-): this was not the lowest quote we received, but it was close. all things considered we made the right decision to use Cueva's. 
4. Execution: (A+) These guys are good !!  
5. Extra mile (A+) ouststanding. One of the neighbors has a dog. The crew put up a temporary fence along that property after the initial demolition, and then prioritized that section higher, and got it done first, very quickly. 
6. Repairs & Warranty: (A) We got a verbal 5 year warranty which I noted in the contract. A couple of months after the initial work was done, one of the boards split.  I called for repair, and emailed in a photo. Within a few days the repair was complete. 
Overall excellent experience. My neighbors also declared themselves satisfied, and at least one has used Cueva's for other work.  I highly recommend Cueva's Lumber & Fence.
