"AVSTEP was great to work with, the team started earlier than expected and completely fixed my foundation, not only with replacement block and cement, but added two different types of waterproofing as well. When additional wood rot was found on top of the foundation, they were able to repair that as well without adding more time to the project. The heavy brick and mortar waste from the building was promptly removed like it was never there. Would recommend AVSTEP for future building needs."

"CNM did a fabulous job. We had had a flood in our bathroom and the entire room had to be replaced. We were out of town and we hired Matt and Jose from CNM on the recommendation of a friend. We did not meet them in person until the end of the job. We communicated via text,email and phone. Our building is 100 years old so major upgrading was required and it had to be updated to match NYC building codes. CNM helped navigate us through getting the required permits. When we finally met Jose and Matt at the end of the job we could not be more delighted. The bathroom was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Thank you Jose and Matt"

"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"TKT Remodeling Group LLC is professional, fast & responsive, and very skilled in their work. They did an incredible job replacing our asbestos tiles in the boiler room, leveling out the floor, and adding tiles. They also installed an excellent fire proof door for the room, and fixed our dryer vent so that it was up to code. Additionally, they installed 4 mini splits in the house. They were very diligent in their work and quality control. After the installation they tested all the units and found out one was malfunctioning. They immediately called the supplier to help us get a new replacement unit, advocating on our behalf and pushing back against the supplier's suggestion of simply replacing a part in the malfunctioning unit, and had it replaced in one day. They go above and beyond in all aspects of their work and are very pleasant to work with. We are incredibly satisfied with their fast, and efficient work and highly recommend their services. We'll definitely be using them in the future for any home projects!"

"Tony did an outstanding job remodeling two bathrooms in my apartment over the summer. His is very professional and responsive. Our building is old and like any remodel in an old building, we had some complications, but Tony handled these challenges very well and was very attentive to my feedback and priorities. I also want to note that Tony has a good eye for design and in some cases he suggested ideas that improved the overall look of our bathrooms compared to our original plan."

"Mr. Powers, at first, was courteous and reliable; the project seemed to have problems, and he was getting frustrated at having to surface the existing deck due to its configuration; he claimed that the measurements and figures were off, while another professional disagreed with his calculations; the project was delayed due to materials being delayed by supplier; Mr. Powers suggested another other remedies for steps and that I purchase an additional type of board for $120, which I did; i paid Mr. Powers in full of the understanding that he would come back and finish off certain areas; during this time, a death occurred and he was unable to come when scheduled; when I texted Mr. Powers, he began belligerent, and cursed at me. I do not find it professional to curse at a client and refuse to take phone calls. I ultimately told Mr. Powers not to come back to my house and to refund the board I purchased that was in his possession. He did so. Since the time of completion, May 2026, numerous boards have come loose. I had someone else correct this issue, and now more boards are coming loose, which I texted him about and showed pictures of on September 9, 2026, and have not heard back from Mr. Powers regarding acknowledgment or addressing the loose boards, as my contract provides for two (2) years."
