"They responded to our call promptly and had a quote within days.  The work was scheduled shortly after that and done in one day.  They made certain the concrete was level with the garage floor and sidewalk.  They also filled the spaces between the concrete pads with a filler to help prevent further washout and made recommendations for work that we could do to prevent further problems in the future (work that they do not perform).

"Mike and his guys arrived when they said they would. They were fast, but not so fast that quality suffered because of it. They cleaned up anything they disrupted. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product! It came out even better than we had hoped it would! We’d definitely use them again for any concrete that we needed put in and would recommend them to anyone who needs concrete work done?."

"Lee initially inspected the flashing during a separate furnace installation. Later, he was easy to contact, and was able to squeeze the job in on short notice before the weather was too cold for it.  He was happy to show me the work up on the roof when he finished it. I can't comment on whether this fixed the problem of the water drips in the bathroom because there hasn't been extreme precipitation since the job was done. But I am happy with the work thus far. I did not rate the quality of the work because I'm not knowledgeable, but I am confident that it was a good job, and I plan to hire Lee for some tuck pointing when the weather allows in springtime.

"The guys from 4-Ever Water-Tite were great! Prior to contracting 4-Ever Water-Tite, I had problems with water and excess moisture in my basement. My basement walls were also pushing in laterally. They put in a perimeter drain system and a new sump pump. They also installed steel support beams to support the walls. I am happy to report that it has now been a full year since 4-Ever Water-Tite worked on waterproofing my basement and it has remained dry. I highly recommend this company."

"In August of 2012 I had Consolino Cement come out to give me a quote. At that time we had already received multiple quotes and were finalizing our estimates. Dario was extremely helpful and polite. He made some great suggestions and advice in accordance to our wants. We decided to contract with Consolino but they were really booked for the remainder of the year. We put our names in the books for the start of the 2013 season. In the beginning of 2013 (March) we called Dario and had to tentatively re-schedule. 2 months passed and we got back in touch with them to open up this project again. I thought for sure the price would be increased since it's been months from the original quote. However, Dario honored the original price!! We signed the contract, put our names down for July 2013 timing, and prepared for installation.
Due to some rain our installation was pushed out by nearly 2 weeks. Dario informed us that they are unable to perform the work in wet conditions but he would keep us informed as the schedules change. Those schedules sure do change rapidly but it's because Dario and his crew (including his 74 year old father) do the work themselves with multiple jobs per week. Their busy schedules have to be adjusted when rain hits, which means that they must ensure all of their appointments are properly rescheduled. However, we had the Consolino team at our home the first week of August 2013.
They worked fast and their workmanship was excellent. Their personalities will get along with anyone and they are very eager to please. The first day they arrived I inquired about 2 slabs of sidewalk cement that had major shift over the winter. They asked if I wanted them replaced and for a very good price they included the replacement into the project. It was a last minute thing but they had no issues to remove the old slabs and replace with newly leveled cement.
The entire experience was great and I would not hesitate to tell friends and family about them. Thanks Dario and the Consolino team for the amazing workmanship and experience!

They did a fantastic job on leveling the driveway and sidewalk slabs. They are now level, and the holes into which they pumped the substance to level it are barely noticeable. They also did a great job on removing and installing a new front step to the porch. The repair of the brickwork around the porch leaves a lot to be desired, though. The mortar is not set back from the face of the bricks-- it's flush. Some of the bricks are also way out of position.

I haven't notified them of the poor quality work because, well, I haven't talked to them. I tried calling right after the work was completed because they require payment within 24 hours. I left a message, but nobody has contacted me. I'm certainly not too upset about this since I don't want to pay for work that is poor quality, but I did want to give them an opportunity to show what kind of customer service they have.

So, please do not hesitate to use this company for concrete leveling. They are great. That is why I have given them high ratings overall. However, I would seek out another company that specializes in brickwork or mortar repair if you need any work like that done.

"We had our driveway and sidewalk replaced on May 27th. Dennis and his crew worked efficiently and meticulously. They had to rip out our driveway and sidewalk as after 26 years, it was crumbling. None of our landscaping was damaged. Total time from rip out to completion took 4 days. Included in our project was concrete reinforcement. We are confident that our new driveway and sidewalks will last another 26 years. We are so pleased with the professionalism of Dennis and his crew and the way the driveway looks. Randy H."

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in New Baltimore, MI

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
