"We had a few issues with the subcontractors but they were not willing to leave until we were satisfied so it was not a problem. They wanted to make sure everything was perfect. They completed the work within a couple of weeks. Aaron the manager and Tony the salesman were focused on customer satisfaction. We have not had a single problem with our four season sunroom."

"They're probably the best company that I have ever worked with and would definitely work with them again. The job was done practically in the middle of a snow storm. The truck that was delivering the sun room was held up somehow in the snow storm. So the owner, the president of the company, was here between 2 and 3 in the morning to take delivery of the truck. I almost fell over, I couldn't believe it. He was out there just before dawn arranging the pieces so his people could come right in and work the next day. They're marvelous people. After all these years, and I haven't done another thing with them, I keep getting calls from them, "How is it doing? How is it doing? Anything you would like to ask?" The work is excellent. They were here for three days. Every person there was someone that I would trust to come into my house. That never happens. But they were here for three days, they didn't goof-off. They knew their job and they did their job. Then the boss came back to make sure that I was happy. I would like them to put another sun room on the other side of the house."

"Jim is wonderful — one of the best around Saratoga Springs. He created our dream kitchen in about 8 weeks; this was a complete remodel — demo, electrical, plumbing, cabinet/appliance install, flooring, backsplash, crown molding, and a brand new pantry he built himself. During that time, he also made a spacious closet for our upstairs guest bedroom. Always on time, incredibly reliable, communicative, and trustworthy — not to mention meticulously clean. Already have plans to hire Jim again!"

"Beautiful work! Keith finished our log home exterior siding. He was reactive on the phone, very communicative, answered all my questions, gave recommendations, and was on-time. I’m extremely happy with the quality of the work he did. I would recommend him to anyone and I’m looking forward to work with him on future projects."

"Once underway, Nick's entire crew worked seamlessly. They removed all the old materials down to the plywood & replaced them. Everyone was diligent, professional, and polite. They were a quiet, well-coordinated team. They packed up & cleaned all work areas each day. The job was completed in under three days. We couldn't be happier with their work - highly recommend them!"

"He showed up on time to provide an estimate for a room remodel in one of my tenant apartments. We went over the project I wanted done and he provided some suggestions on how to correct certain issues. He was very nice and professional the whole time. He was obviously very experienced and knowledgeable about general contracting.  <br /> He took some measurements and said he would get back to me with an estimate. I never heard from him again. I decided to go with Greg M, who was equally as knowledgeable and the project came out great. <br />"

"I'd had a evaluation and estimate from Exterior Solutions and after then not having received a call back or return email (the inspector had also pulled a loose single from my roof leaving it exposed) I went back to Angie's List. T&T came up, noting it had a good rating, I called. Dave and a colleague arrived, evaluated the roof and offered to repair it free of charge. Still blown away by this. A member of their crew arrived yesterday and did this; apparently they've ended up correcting other work done by Exterior Solutions and they only wanted the good will rating for the work. Incredibly nice and very professional."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in New-baltimore, NY

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
