"Richard and all of his subcontractors were wonderful to work with. He is so thoughtful and kind. It is clear that he loves what he does! Every detail is thought through and he is great at problem solving when things pop up along the way. If you’re questioning whether to go with him - just do it! He is a great communicator and you’ll always feel you’re on the same team."

"We needed a skylight installed in our bathroom, and MMP did an excellent job--we are very happy with it! The team was friendly and worked quickly and efficiently to get it done before it got dark, and the quality of their work was excellent. Matt was very friendly and nice to communicate with as well, and always responded right away. I highly recommend MMP Construction to anyone looking for great quality work and excellent customer service."

"Torin and his team did a wonderful job upgrading our original 1980s kitchen. He was flexible with its construction ‘quirks’ and helped me find materials within my budget. Kitchen remodel included cabinets countertops & lighting. Torin is detailed and thorough. He shows up on time, is clean and personable. Throughout the project, he took on smaller fixes including replacing my bathroom faucet, fixing the drafty front door & hiding the TV cable wires behind the wall. Overall very satisfied with his work. "

"It was a pleasure to work with Paul. This was the first project I have done that came in on time and on budget. Excellent work and no complaints worthy of mentioning. He is honest, straightforward and has a sense of humor. I highly recommend him for projects up to an addition. "

"We are very impressed with XCC and their team. Our property is very challenging and there was now solid ground where the deck was being installed. XCC built us an amazingly beautiful and solid retaining wall. We absolutely love our deck. They even went ahead and added an extra landing for my elderly mother to take a rest on. We will definitely be calling them again when we are ready to update the deck on the main house."

"Corey and his team are great to work with. He is a prompt communicator and is very organized. He also has a great attention to detail and ensures the project is perfect before claiming he is done. He is easy to work with and was able to make our ideas a reality. We have used him for several projects already and have him lined up for another. I highly recommend St. James Construction."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in New Boston, NH

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
