"We are so glad we went with Matt Silva & his team for our much-needed kitchen update. The finished result is functional, modern, and beautiful, as we had hoped. But the best part was working with this group of pros. Every person who was in/out of our house over the space of a few weeks was courteous and professional, respectful of our space, tolerant of our senior dog, and extremely meticulous in caring for our home as if it were their own. Matt visited us a few times before we committed to the work. Each time he answered a myriad of questions, showed product examples, made recommendations, and helped us decide on several key factors. Matt replied to emails promptly, and he always let us know when to expect team members to arrive. As with any reno, there were a couple minor snags but each was addressed promptly and to our full satisfaction. We can't say enough about how thoroughly these guys cleaned up every day. "When we were ready, a person came to my home and prepared a template of the countertops out of wood. Installation was smooth and professional. Every fit perfectly! The installers were so good! They cleaned up afterward, measured for the faucet to be an exact fit, and explained what cleaning products were best for the Corian. My kitchen looks beautiful!! This company is highly recommended. Do ask about the Corian sink verses the stainless steel. The the stainless steel sink ends up costing more because there is an additional charge for installing it. The Corian sink is so pretty, seamless and has a clean finished look to it.

"I did a complete rebuild of a high-end property in Boston, and I was very particular about the contractors I worked with.   Nenio at OJ Marble & Granite came highly recommended from my GC, who had worked with them before.   I met with Nenio a few times at his shop to look at quartz and granite countertop samples, and changed my mind a few times.   Nenio and his team were super-easy to work with -  very patient and  helpful in guiding me through the various options.   Once the quartz was selected, it was a very quick turnaround in terms of installation.   The countertops they installed look fantastic.     After the countertops were installed I went back to their shop to select marble for the bathrooms, which also turned out great.

The following is a list of everything that was included in the labor estimate:
Prep areas with plastic walls to contain dust as best as possible, move appliances, remove existing cabinets and countertops, take down existing drywall to the studs and down to strapping on ceiling , remove existing floor tiles , install new patio door and window, insulate walls, hang drywall, tape and mud or plaster walls and ceiling, create new openings in wall between kitchen and front room and wall at foot of stairs, prime ceiling and walls, install new cabinets, install new window and door trim,
install new tile floor, install tile backsplash, remove all debris, be on site when inspector comes to sign off on different phases of job.

"Pacific Stone and Tiles came to measure and showed about 6 choices for granite selection for the offer price. We were working with our own interior designer and we were on FaceTime with her. She nixed the 6 choices so Pacific Stone showed us another granite which was from India and was mostly white with few markings and some reddish-brownish highlights. The effect of this Indian granite was white and it coordinated nicely with our maple cabinets. Our interior designer told us to choose that and we agreed to pay Pacific Stone $1000. more for this granite from India. No name was given for this new granite in writing. When the day of installation came, the old countertop was removed. I did not think to go out and look at the granite in the truck before installation. The installation was done very efficiently and very nicely. However, the countertop did not look like what we were expecting. The color effect was gray with many markings. We were expecting a whitish granite and got gray. I asked to see the original sample that we had been shown when we selected the white granite but they did not have it on the truck. I contacted Pacific Stone and they emailed me a photo of what they said was the granite sample they showed me, but it did not look what they showed me. The granite we got was called moon white on the final bill but it had no name on the original invoice we signed. I made a number of inquiries about the discrepancy between the granite color we expected and what we received. Pacific Stone said there are natural variations in the appearance of each granite variety. However, we paid $1000 more because we thought we were getting the granite color we and our interior designer viewed and chose. I don't think I got the granite we selected and feel I paid $1000 too much. I now have to figure out how to get the granite to coordinate with the maple cabinets as well as regretting that I paid $1000 more than I should have."
