"I found this company through another member reviews, which stated that Jim is an honest guy who will always try to help and take the project where another company simply not interested in taking because either it is too small or just too complex. So we have a deck with heaving issue that over the years just getting worse that threaten the integrity of the house structure itself. Other company that I called simply not interested, can't do it, or can't come until much later in the season. Jim called back in the same day and tried to understand the problem. He stopped by to check it out himself the next day and genuinely tried to help out without bankrupting me. He was able to squeeze in my project in between all his other projects due to the urgency of the issue. The crew he sent were terrific. Tim is a great guy and they were able to level my deck/porch back to normal. Their professionalism and quality of workmanship are unmatched. "All the glass on the windows was cleaned very well. I did notice that some of the window tracks were still dirty in the corners and there were a few dead bugs left. Representatives were very polite and pointed out scratches on the glass and that one of the patio doors seal was broken making the interior of the glass cloudy."

"John was professional, responsive and above all else very skilled at his trade.  We got off to a slow start at first, but John was upfront about his backlog of exterior work and needed to take advantage of good weather days in order to accomodate previous commitments.  He had hoped to have a crew come in and be done with our rather large job in just a couple days, but instead of rescheduling and delaying further, he came in and did the entire job himself!!  He was quick, efficient and did what it took to get it done!  He completed the project in just over 4 days!!  He kept the work space clean and tidy.  Which I thought was impressive considering we were painting the entire main level of our house.  He was also very considerate of the fact that we have two small children.  Even taking the time to entertain my 2 year olds barrage of questions! <br /> As for cost, given the amount of work done, the high quality materials he used and efficiency with which the job was completed, I'd say it was a bargain!! <br /> We will definitely use John and Absolute Painting for ALL of our future painting projects! <br />"

"As a licensed architect, I solicited their help on a remodel project and was surprised to hear their review of existing site conditions. The estimator not only used wrong terms when describing the structure, he also was inexperienced in identifying structural loads and engineering. As the property owner, I was simply asking for an estimate and timeline - by the end of the meeting, I was left with neither. After the estimator gave me a hard time the quality of materials and construction of the original deck, he went on to say that he could do it but it would be expensive. He then discredited the original structure but didn't seem familir with my reference of the the 2015 Minnesota State Building Code changes in Chapter 5 regarding decks. I think they would do a great job with a ground up deck where they can take a predetermined, manufactured deck plan and execute it like a recipe. However, as a licensed professional I remain leery on their ability to preform custom or non-standard work."
