"Tom and his son Tommy did a fantastic job. I had an old 2 level wood deck that he re-surfaced with Azek. The challenge was that I had a relatively need vinyl handrail, that I wanted to keep. Many contractors would not do the deck without demolishing the handrails. Tom was meticulous in removing the railing and then re-assembling it after the deck was complete, with no missing or broken parts. He did many repairs to the sub-structure of the deck, including rebuilding the entire stairs, and replacing all the existing joist brackets. The finished deck looks absolutely amazing! Their workmanship is exceptional, and they cleaned up as if they were never here. From the first day, when Tom came to give us an estimate, to the finished product, it was a true pleasure to work with them. They answered all my questions, and discussed various options. Russett Deck was far and away one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, and I will highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful deck."

"I discovered Deck and Shed Pros while planning to add a garden shed to my property. After shopping the many options for fully constructed sheds, it became evident that there was not going to be an easy way to get a fully constructed shed into my fenced backyard (by accessing a neighbor’s yard, tearing down part of a privacy fence, sloping yards, etc.). "I talked to many (I'm a bit embarrassed to say how many!) deck builders to get quotes on replacing my wooden deck with a composite deck from spring until early fall 2019. "The job went great. They came out removed the old deck flooring, stairs and nails. During the project they kept the site clean of debris, nails and trash. They put down new deck flooring, provided deck trap door for water faucet access, new stairs, sanded off writing on lumber and added rail for the stairs (concrete posts for stability). They waited to stain the deck after wood had been exposed to elements and dried. The team let us know when they were coming to do work and what to expect. Their cost was reasonable and they were not like other companies that just wanted to sell and do things that were not necessary."

"Removed old concrete patio: This was an old 1963-era concrete slab. Massive. Mike & his team brought in jackhammers and made quick work of it. Waterproofing: Removing the old slab revealed a damaged (and possibly leaking) portion of the house wall, which Mike's team repaired well. Replaced with new patio: Mike's team poured a new cement layer, then installed a new flagstone patio surface on top of that. Also a new step (concrete with flagstone exterior) at the door threshold. They also re-installed an iron railing which had been part of the original patio configuration. The job went well in all respects. We're happy with the team's work and with the new patio. I've worked with Mike and Diversified Contractors several times now. Each time, Mike has had good ideas & suggestions. Each time, his team has demonstrated excellent skills. Again, I'm looking forward to our next project."

"My 3rd floor deck was way overdue for some major maintenance, and I wanted to go composite, but first I had to find the right contractor to install it. After much searching I settled on the great guys from Joist Construction. They were communicative, affordable and available to start almost right away. Their crew pulled out all of the old boards, brought up all of the new composite wood, and replaced the whole deck in ONE day! They also replaced a joist that was in bad shape and did an excellent job navigating several deck floor penetrations, including uninstalling and reinstalling a lattice that keeps them out of sight. Overall I was incredibly impressed with their speed and attention to detail. Could not ask for nicer guys who went above and beyond to make the experience painless!"
