"It went great! I called on a Monday around noon, and Paul came out that evening to give me a quote on 2 replacement garage doors and 2 new, quieter openers. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me, while still making me aware of the best options available. The price he quoted was by far the most reasonable estimate I received. We scheduled an appointment for Friday morning, and Joe showed up on time this morning and finished the job within 4 hours. He had everything set up for us and showed us how to program the openers, and even helped me reset the opener in my car. Highly recommend this company!"

"Todd provided consulting of door specifications for a customer order door. He also completed the installation. The challange was the the opening would not allow for a standard door size. After we as the home owners had excavated & replaced the exterior basment steps it was was revealed that door frame work was not square and was impacted by the basement walls. Our house was built in 1925. Todd was able to view the exposed basement steps work prior to its completion. There was more than one site visit by him to determine the approach to installation for the door.Todd provided specs for us to order the door and met with us.& our vendor to review the specs before ordering. The installation went smoothly. Todd made no less than 3 site visits & many communications with us along the way. This was the 3rd time that we have used his services."

"The first day of the job we were very surprised to see the owner David walk through the door ready to work. This to us was very impressive since you usually don't see this. It was neat to watch the progress David and his crew did daily. We went from bare concrete walls to a big beautiful living room, bedroom with a closet and full bathroom. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
