"This was a complicated installation requiring that we move out for most of the project. Because the tile cannot be installed directly on top of the soundproof layer, Builderzz had to cover it with cement board. So there were three layers to install and the new floor was almost two inches higher than the old one. This resulted in some unexpected complications, but Joe had an answer for every one. He always consulted me when decisions needed to be made, and always had excellent advice when I was unsure of how to proceed. The project also required a lot of furniture moving and Joe's crew took care of it. They cleared out the rooms they were working in and then moved everything back to where I wanted it once they were done. This is the second time we have employed Builderzz and, as with the first time, workers showed up every day with few (unavoidable) exceptions. Joe was also sensitive to our anxiety and "remodel fatigue" and tried to make the house inhabitable as quickly as possible so we could move back in even though the project wasn't finished. Guy had estimated 5 weeks to finish the job. There were a couple glitches (not Builderzz fault) so that it ended up taking 6 weeks which still strikes me as pretty fast for such a complicated project. <br /> <br /> The final product (new floor, fireplace and freshly painted walls) is stunningly beautiful. Everyone who has seen it has been deeply impressed. People who know about such things have told me that the floor was expertly laid. I'm confident that it will outlive us. I hope I never have to remodel again (that was the goal of this remodel), but if I do, I would call Guy and Joe."

He is responsive, always returned my calls quickly and he does what he says he is going to do. Charlie came over to my house and met with me before installation, during the installation and after. In addition he worked with his crew at the beginning of installation to make sure everything was perfect with a tricky area of my roofline. Above all of what I wrote above, Charlie and the office staff are very organized people. Charlie was able to provide me with a lot of information about rebates, taxes etc… and Every bit of information I could want related to monitoring my system, working with Landmark construction & energy crew, maximizing the cost benefits, and getting my tax rebate, are all gathered and clearly labelled in a binder. Charlie knew how to explain everything about solar and I could see during our meetings how much patient he have. Charlie didn't have to push anything in order to sell his work to me because his product was the one I wanted, it made sense, and the price was better than others. I can't think of a contractor and I've worked with quite a few once in the past and for this project, I met with several ones as well and Landmark construction & energy crew is more reliable, efficient, and customer-oriented. "From start to finish, Advance Solutions did an outstanding job remodeling our master bathroom!  Anyone who lives in Eastvale knows all about the plastic liner showers that the builders use.  Ours cracked on the bottom of the shower floor, and by the time we hired Advance Solutions we were so ready to say goodbye to the nasty plastic, and hello to a nice tiled shower.  We were expecting a simple tiled shower and bath, but what we got from Ray and his team at Advance Solutions was so much more.  It greatly exceeded our expectations!  Our bathroom is a work of art, with a beautiful tiled shower and tub, gorgeous tiled floor, new granite counter tops, new lighting, mirrors, and so much more.  Ray was very patient and helpful in creating a color scheme that adds beauty and value to our house.  He walked us through every step, and it was clear that our project was a priority for him.  He even went so far as to call me one day and tell me that he didn?t like the granite backsplash they had already installed, and that he wanted to change it to put in a feature wall that would look even better.  The granite backsplash looked good, but the mosaic feature wall he changed it to is amazing!  It is one of my favorite parts of the bathroom!  This really showed me how much Ray cares about the work that he is doing. Most contractors would simply have left the granite backsplash in place.  It looked good, but Ray wanted our bathroom to look great.  I was truly impressed with his work ethic and attention to detail.  This was also true of the team of workers that Ray has assembled at Advance Solutions.  Victor, Alfredo, Nestor, and the rest of the guys who worked on our bathroom were personable, on time, and knowledgeable about the work they were doing.  Their work was clean, and they made every effort to protect the areas of our house they weren?t working on.  They put down cardboard to protect the carpet, and used drop cloths to protect the stairs.  Stacey is Ray?s secretary, and she does a great job of fielding calls for Ray.  One of the things I liked most is that questions we had ran through Stacey, and she promptly got answers from Ray and got back to us.  This made it clear that when Ray was meeting with us and working on our project, he was focused on our work.  Having to field phone calls for other projects did not distract him.  Ray?s focus was 100% on our job, and working to make our bathroom look amazing!  I highly recommend Advance Solutions, and am already looking forward to hiring them to redo our other ?builder special? bathroom.   <br /> <br />"

"The provided installed two skylights, scraped and retextured the ceilings, made the attic easily accessible with a pull drop-down ladder, installed a fan in the roof of the attic to keep the attic cool (the fan kicks on at 80 degrees), repainted the interior, made wall repairs, and installed new bathroom fixtures. The workers were professional, friendly and usually prompt. Called when they were running late or needed to reschedule."

"We needed a new entertainment center built into the corner of our family room to accommodate at new TV.  We were told by another contractor that building at an angle would be impossible and that we should just tilt the TV.  We were also told that the unit would not be able to butt up against the brick fireplace, which would've been our preference.  Instead there would be a gap. <br /> Enter Steve Kane at Rans Group Inc.  He came to our home and spent much time explaining exactly what he could do, and that included building the unit at an angle.  He did agree with the other contractor that the unit would not be able to meet the brick, as I had hoped. <br /> I was unsure what the unit would look like, so he took all measurements home with him and brought back several versions of what he could do.  Again, he was in our home for quite some time.  He wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page and that we would be happy with his work.  That day we agreed on one of the ideas he had come up with.  Modified a few things, and sent him home with a deposit and a promised date for installation, that being  Tuesday, June 19th. <br /> Last week he called me and asked if he could push installation to Friday.  I told him that it would be a problem as the TV installers were coming on Wednesday.  He said "no problem," he would make it work, and he did.   <br /> He showed up Tuesday...on time.  The unit in my family room is beautiful.  Perfect.  And for me...NOTHING is ever perfect!  Yes, it is at an angle like he promised PLUS he was able to butt it up against the brick!  He had said he didn't think he could do it, the other guy said "no way", but Steve found a way.  I'm impressed. <br /> Where was Steve when we re-did the kitchen? Wish I had known him then.  <br />"

"I originally called Holden's Drywall but he was backlogged. He was kind enough to refer me to Central Coast Acoustic Ceilings. Chad was very accommodating in that he was willing to go over to the condo to give me a quote without me being there. This is a vacation home and I didn't want to make a special trip. Chad was very responsive not only with the quote but with my numerous questions about the job (I'm a detailed kind of person). He did the work on the date we agreed upon and he cleaned up the area when the job was done. There were a couple of imperfections (again, I am a very detailed person) and he came back to touch up those areas and did so with a positive attitude. He even sealed off some areas that were less than perfect prior to the job and were actually beyond the scope of the job. We no longer have popcorn ceilings (thank goodness!) and although I have not yet repainted, it appears that the re-texture was done well. I will use Chad and Central Coast Acoustic Ceilings again in the future if I need anymore work done."
