"Avi and his team were fabulous. At the beginning of the process, he was the only contractor that we had spoken to that even mentioned the abatement process and how it might affect us. He was personable and friendly and made sure our need to live in the house during renovation was addressed. He stopped by regularly and had chats with us making sure we were happy with the process. Avi made sure that we knew that something might not be the best idea but if we truly wanted it he would do it. We did the kitchen, the master bedroom, master bathroom, guest bathroom, all windows, all doors including the front and garage doors. It was a huge undertaking but what a transformation. Also Joyce, the office coordinator, was awesome and we had a text thread going with her and Avi the whole time. Project We instinctively knew Ouri was the best fit for us after the on-site consultation. Not only are his reviews overwhelmingly positive, but he's knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and honest, with competitive pricing to boot. He's also a very responsive communicator. We needed some time after signing the contract to shop for materials. Ouri kindly rolled with our uncertain timeline, checking in periodically without any pressure to see where we were at and advising on any questions we had along the way. From the beginning of the project, his crew was respectful, clean, and always checked in with us as any questions came up. The project went smoothly and for one very minor hiccup that came up, Ouri & crew were quick to address without question. And months later, he sent a member of his crew to come troubleshoot something minor, again without any hesitation. It's challenging to keep these brief when you have such a great experience, especially when you read and hear about horror stories from other people. Selfishly, maybe we should keep this to ourselves so he isn't so busy when we need him for another project in the future :) Scope The bathroom was totally gutted save for some sections of drywall. A full tiled shower with a bench was installed (replacing a tiny old corner unit!), along with added lighting & exhaust fan, new floor tile, and all new fixtures/ cabinets/ paint. The plumbing and the shower drain were relocated. An old window was removed and replaced by a new one on an adjacent wall."
