"Iron mountain was a great company to work with. They poured retaining walls, new concrete steps and sidewalks at my commercial building and the work is beautiful. They were great with the required schedules, performing work professionally, and keeping the job site cleaned up. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them on future projects. "

"Excellent service, care, and clean up. They took time to explain what the problem was, what they could do to fix it, how they would fix it, and what the result would be. I haven't had a leak since. <br />"

"First of all, Nathan called me back, which doesn’t happen that often with contractors around here! Their price was very reasonable and I didn’t feel that I was being ripped off. The work was professional and timely. Won’t know until winter/spring if fixed problem but I’m confident it did or they will make it right."

"Our involvement with Park Range was a nearly 10 week process from the initial call to completion of the work. Pros: One of the few companies I could find after THOROUGH research that did both major landscaping (changed slope of driveway and grade around house) and foundation work ( excavated to 6-8 and waterproofed exterior). Employees who worked hard and listened to what we wanted Cons: Communication issues - probably pretty typical but as a person going through a project this big for this first time, there were points that I was extremely frustrated. The two main issues were lack of responsiveness (only at times, at other times they were quick to respond) and lack of clear responses at times. To note: our project was big, and cost $30k. We could've bid the job out to a bunch of different, way cheaper people for probably $15k. However, we thought it was worth it to have one expert level company do all the work and this ended up being true for us. It was worth it."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Newcastle, WY

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
