"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"Strong Builders, LLC. Our experience with Jack Whealan was nothing short of exceptional. Jack designed, created and built the project we are now lucky enough to call our home. From the beginning of this project to the end, our expectations were completely and utterly exceeded at each and every turn. Jack arrived every morning by 7am and finished well past what we would consider quitting time. The ability to focus on our project exclusively from beginning to end brought an expert level of craftsmanship to every aspect of the project. "The Kinsellabuilt team is outstanding - they managed through a full gut remodel of our ~1,925 sqft home in a little over 5 months from when we got our initial quote. They have a great eye for design as well, which we found really helpful - they would ask us for input on decisions where we had personal preferences and took care of the small decisions where we didn't have preferences in ways that made a lot of sense. This was our first remodel and they were really great about giving us advice and steering us away from decisions that might be costly or not work well. They are highly responsive and quick to resolve issues. We were also really impressed by their accuracy on the cost estimate. They charged us exactly what they said they would, and anything that added cost was discussed, agreed to beforehand, and documented on the invoices. Even with the cost increases, almost all of which was due to us increasing scope, we came in within 5% of the original estimate. Would highly recommend!"

"I truly cannot express how AMAZING Carlos and his crew is and wish that I’d met him two years ago. We were at the tail end of a major renovation that we’d started with another contractor and it was full of all the horror stores that you’d expect; people not showing up, shoddy work, constant delays and more. We’d spoken with a bunch of other builders and had similar results; we were at our wits end and truly wished we’d never started this project that we’d long dreamed of doing. After reading Carlos’ reviews, I called him, resigned to the fact that this would be another frustrating dead-end and explained the status of our project; he came out the next day and sent two crews of carpenters the day after that. In four days, Carlos did what our previous contractor hadn’t been able to do in fourteen months! He fixed a ton of poorly done work (including a set of winding oak stairs- no small feat!) and finished our project in ways we could not have imagined a week ago. Literally every day, my wife and I would say to ourselves, “is this really happening?!” Our house looks amazing, the craftsmanship is incredible and we couldn’t be happier. All of his carpenters are excellent to work with, communicate their ideas clearly, and are extremely clean. They offered ideas as to best use the space without adding to the budget and even fixed things I hadn’t noticed were installed wrong by the previous contractor. I will literally never hire anyone but Carlos for any building needs and have already referred him to three friends that are looking to do projects ranging from building decks to large interior renovations. "Humberto is the best! He and his crew are reliable, careful, knowledgeable, and professional. They always clean up afterwards and are careful not to get paint chips (from power washing) or paint drips in the soil of my garden. I've hired him twice to paint the outside of my half of a duplex. My neighbor in the other half went in with me this time. A third neighbor who saw the work decided to have their freestanding house painted as well. A beautiful job all around. Humberto is also honest and forthright about the costs and doesn't go over."

"We highly recommend Real Painting. They were professional, thorough, and hard working (often staring at 7:30 am and continuing until 6 or 7pm). Their prep work was outstanding: power washing, scraping, sanding, patching and priming. They were very neat and respectful of our property by protecting our plants and cleaning up the debris at the end of each day. Carlos, the owner, was superb at communicating the plan and was often on site checking in. The price was excellent given the quality of work. "Eric's team rebuilt our entire three season room, which was not functional. It is now, thanks to Mike and Brian. It also looks very good! Mike works hard at getting things done, and teaches the younger crew very well. He is structured and trustworthy. He also was patient answering my questions (I always have too many..!). Brian pays great attention to detail! I was impressed by how good the tile work looks, and also how good the finishing of the decking to the landing looks like, which he did. They also had to partly redo the patio, and it looks better than before."
