He also cleaned up beautifully, leaving my garage in perfect order. In the time since installation there is a noticeable difference in the water. "Pipepals plumbing was 10 stars! Choice was 4 stars. They were timely in assigning the job but I had to keep an eye in the website as notifications did not get pushed via email as expected. They also wouldn't cover all the work recommended by the plumber. Essentially I had a broken pvc in an outside faucet and they wanted him to reuse the faucet instead of replacing it. So I would have had a 1/2 in pipe with 2 connectors...to an old faucet just to save $30. I paid out of pocket so it's right but really? Again plumber was AWESOME. Showed early and returned next day to confirm leak was fixed and patched the holes."

The only problem was them diagnosing the exact problem, it took them 4 or 5 times that they came out before they figured out what was wrong. I have a contract with them, so it basically didn?t cost me anything even if they came 10 times. They came right away and they were concerned about trying to figure out what was wrong. It was an intermittent problem, so that was the reason they couldn?t figure it out completely. With the service contract, it didn?t really cost me anything more."

"Fireplace was fine (OPPOSITE of what I had been told by another chimney sweep).  Oil burner side ...not so good.  Flue was heavily cracked and deteriorated.  Entire flue pieces laying at base.  Since this could be a carbon monoxide hazard and I quite often have small children in the house, I didn't think it was anything I should let go unresolved (although I was NOT anticipating spending a couple of thousand dollars at the time).
Bottom line:  New stainless steel liner put in.  Liner secured and resealed top and bottom.  New cap installed - and cracked top cement crown on chimney was replaced with a rubberized product.  Warranty on liner is transferable with the house when/if sold.
While I was not thrilled about hitting my emergency fund for something that you can't SEE, obviously it was important to get it done.  I was eligible for a Senior discount (am I the only one THRILLED to be older when a Senior discount is offered)?  You hit a certain age ... every penny saved helps.
Jon Paul was wonderful.  Not a pushy sales person.  Straight and to the point.  Explained everything in detail.  Personable.  My 4 year old great niece was with me for an overnight visit and she immediately took to him.  (Pay attention to the little ones ~ they're very good judges of character). 
I will recommend them at every opportunity and call them again if the need arises.  Five Stars from me!!!"
