"First time using the service of a chimney sweep.  We're installing gas logs and it was recommended to have the chimney cleaned prior to gas log installation.  Originally schedued appointment for 3/21/14 @ 10:00 am and was a no-show.  Called at 2:00 p.m. and he said he had a job that ran over and could accomplish the next day (Saturday).  I agreed.  He was a little late; he called me this time to let me know he would be a few minutes late.  Seemed to know his stuff and cleaned the chimney without making a mess.  Originally quoted me a rate of $129 but bill was for $139.  Not sure if the extra charge was for cleaning out the fire box and air inlet or just a price increase. <br />"

"They arrived and got right to work. There were two technicians, and they finished in a timely manner. The only issue was that they cleaned up somewhat, but still left a mess. Outside was understandable because dryer lint was harder to get completely cleaned up; however, the inside could have been left in a better state."

"Everything was great at the beginning. We waited for our call that we would be scheduled and then things started not going as planned. The got the roof off and found the chimney needed to be replaced, so we got an estimate on that and a chimney guy was scheduled. Then the roof work stopped. My complaint here was we were not communicated with about when the roofers would be back to restart. I had to call a couple of times about the chimney guy and roofer. When they finally finished they were supposed to clean up the yard, run the magnet for nails and that was done poorly. The first day they were gone we found nails in the driveway, nails and trash in the yard and roof debris in the yard. I also noticed our gutter seals had been cracked from their ladders. We ended up meeting with the projects manager twice and they came out to clean up and fix gutters 3 times (on one of the trips the broke one of the spouts of the gutter off). I am still cleaning up the yard but after three trips I didn’t want them back out. This is not just one persons fault their. Lake of communication was a big issue with many people. Also be ware that if you pay with a credit card you will have to pay their square fee, I was not made aware of this until I went to pay even though they said it was on the email with the bill, which it was not and I had to forward them the email to prove it. I will not recommend them or use them again."

"It took weeks to get a response on the summer kitchen remodel project. They had a large project at Disney and I had to wait. When I finally got the proposal, the labor quote was much higher than I had anticipated and chose not to use them. The servicing of the interior fireplace and the installation of the exterior fireplace unit went well and as expected. I cannot necessarily recommend them for outdoor kitchen remodels."
