"I initially selected West Shore Home to do my window replacement principally because their salesman so much less pushy than the others that I requested estimates from. I am allergic to a hard sell! But their excellent service continued throughout the project. I needed a total of more than 20 windows replaced in a 70-year old home. Quite a job! They scheduled the installation well in advance so that I could plan my schedule. They came exactly on time on the appointed day. Everyone on the crew was cheerful, courteous, and knowledgeable. When it turned out that some of the materials sent from the factory had minor defects, they not only offered to replace all the defective panes but even showed me a couple of defects that I had not noticed. And they returned not once but twice to be sure that everything was perfect before they called the job complete."

"***DO NOT MAKE THE SAME $13,000 DOLLAR MISTAKE WE DID!*** We have had a terrible experience with AHD and after trying to communicate with the office, seller, and other members of the management team we received zero help and a ton of excuses. We shopped around and got several quotes from other companies and ultimately went with AHD because we thought we were going to be treated fairly and like human being and not like a transaction. Well that changed the second you signed on the dotted line. The have no pride or care for their â customersâ aka paychecks. I have never wrote a negative review about a company before but felt it extremely important after giving them every opportunity to make it right for me and my family. You would be better off with a big box store or Pella, I honestly feel like they should be ashamed of themselves. If you are reading this review and have any questions and are considering no using American Home Design please give me a call and I will gladly speak with you about why you should NOT. The manger I was dealing with this entire time to this day has still not answered my email, extremely poor customer service. Bait and switch sales tactics. RUN!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Great! I purchased this home in June of 2018, from MN, and had a different contractor hired to do all of the above, as of the day I closed, July 9. I was planning on moving in mid August. July 3 I found out the contractor I thought I had hired would not be able to do the job. I called Chris the morning of July 4. He met with my realtor at the house and took the job. Of course he was not able to start right away, but he had all the work completed by and I was able to move by mid September. I literally do not know what I would have done without him - I had called three other local contractors, and even tried Buildzoom and no one returned my calls. He was professional, communicative and the work that he did on my home is beautiful. I only made two trips down to the house while the work was being done and we managed to coordinate the rest via phone, efficiently. What a godsend. I am hiring Chris again in January to do a few more things I have noticed since moving in, and will continue to use him in the future. I cannot recommend him highly enough."

"My kitchen floor was severely warped and had 30+ years of layered board and vinyl. Brandon and Scott from Turn to Us showed up on time and began working immediately, They repaired and replaced the floor in less that 2 days and it is gorgeous! I could not have been more pleased with the timing, their attitudes and craftsmanship. I will definitely be using them again."

"A fantastic job, I would never hesitate use or recommend Hulico for any future needs. I was so happy 1/2 way through the installation that I contracted for 3 additional doors. Very professional and work was top-notch."

"Heath and Kelley are excellent craftsmen and in-field designers. They offered solutions and recommendations as our project moved forward that delivered a better outcome. Very nice couple and we missed them when our project concluded. I’d start any tile project with a call to Affordanle Tile Works."

FAQs for bathtub installation and replacement projects in Niota, TN

Most tubs last an average of 20 years, or closer to 10 to 15 if they’re acrylic or fiberglass. If you’re seeing persistent leaks, cracks, stubborn stains, or mold that won’t scrub away, it’s time to start shopping for a replacement. Out-of-date features and visible water damage are other red flags. Swapping the tub now protects your bathroom from bigger (and pricier) repairs down the road.

You should install your tub in a location that complements your bathroom's layout, plumbing connections, and personal preferences. Consider placing it near existing plumbing to minimize installation costs. Many homeowners position their tubs to take advantage of natural light or scenic outdoor views, enhancing relaxation.

Ensure there's sufficient space around the tub for easy access and safety, especially if accessibility is a concern. Ultimately, the ideal spot is where the tub fits seamlessly with your bathroom design and provides the most comfort and convenience for your needs.

Replacing a bathtub takes just one or two days if you hire a pro to handle the job. They'll remove the old tub and install the new one efficiently. If you're considering doing it yourself, be prepared for it to take much longer, possibly up to a month. That's because you'll need to remove the old tub and drywall, install the new tub, repair the walls, and maybe tackle new tiling. Weigh the time commitment against potential cost savings to decide what's best for you.

Converting your tub to a shower transforms your bathroom with a modern and accessible design. The average cost to convert a tub to a shower ranges from $2,000 to $10,500, based on the required plumbing, tiling, and structural modifications. This upgrade maximizes space while boosting functionality and aesthetics in your bathroom.
