"If you are looking for an expert at a reasonable price, who is professional, polite and does what he says he will do call these folks. A few years ago I had someone else supposedly fix this type of stucco and it didn't last. These folks are excellent and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heart beat!"

"I hired this company based on reviews from Angie's list.  My experience was a bit different than the A + rating they had.  The answered my call for a quote and arrived on time.  The communicated in Spanish about everything.  We all walked the house together and I pointed out everything that needed painting.  We had a discussion about the master bath, the last words I heard George senior tell me was "we can fix this".  They quoted me a price of $3400.00 and said if I got everything done at once, he would take $200.00 off.  I didn't get other quotes because I just moved in and time was a factor, so I can't really comment on price.  During the week, they dropped of a large paint sample thing to make may choices from.  They arrived early to start the two-day job, a Friday and a Saturday.  They finished the job on Saturday, as promised.  My master bath was not painted, the wood on the steps was not painted, they removed all the drapery hardware and it was tossed out apparently, they took a blind down in the master bedroom and I had to remind many times for them to fix it, they did with crazy glue.  The walls and ceiling are beautiful but the trim is horrible.  I am still painting over spots that were missed or the paint was wiped off when they cleaned the floors.  There was a quarter sized drop of paint on my maple dining room table.  There was a large spot of white trim paint on the colored wall in the hall, but worst of all I continue to clean small spots and areas where there is white paint on the oak floors. They did do me one favor and lift a TV back up above the fireplace that had been taken down for painting. They did leave all the extra paint in the basement, one bucket not closed and has a paint roller floating in it.  The worst thing was them teasing my dogs and getting them agitated and pushing each other towards them and laughing.  Overall, I don't think I had an "A" experience.  Unfortunately I would not recommend them or use them again.

"I contacted Rent Painters to paint the interior and exterior of my townhouse. I set an appointment with Chris to look at the project. He arrived promptly and we walked through the house. A few days later he provided me an estimate for labor and material. The estimate was fair and I contracted the work. The crew came as agreed and they completed the work in just a few days. The quality of work was excellent. My house looks fully refreshed. I could not be happier with the end product. I will call them again for my next paint project and I highly recommend them!"

Friendly Painting did a fabulous job correcting my painting mistakes!  I was doing touch up paint in the condo living room with 18 feet walls in preparation for my new renters.  I ran into trouble when the old paint in the can had dried up, Sherwin Williams no longer carried the same color and there was a different formula that they were never (after numerous tries) able to match up for me.  While mixing and trying to match, I painted over the old and new paint in a few places and tried out the new shades.  I eventually arrived at the matching color, but the sheen was all wrong with the natural window lighting and the original eggshell paint looking more flat after a few years.  From the angle in the kitchen looking through the cut out to the living room, my touch up work looked awful with the lighting and stuck out like a sore thumb. I finally gave up and decided to call a professional painting company!  I found Friendly Painting on Angie's list and they answered after 5P!  Tom Seo, the owner, listened to my sob story and gave me a quote (with a 10% Angie discount) and said a team would be out the next afternoon!   He reassured me that they were excellent painters and would resolve my painting problems.  They were an hour late in arriving, but more than made up for it in their professional techniques to correct my blunders!  Yes, they tried to sand and roller over my painting, but when I pointed out how my work was still showing through, Jose quickly came up with a plan and the perfect solutions!  He got Armando and Abdias to spackle over a few places, the hair dryer came out and within a few minutes the roller paint covered everything perfectly.  They completed my job in about 2 hours (with a 20 minute break to let the first coat of paint dry before the 2nd one was applied), with Armando high on the ladder, Abdias doing the cut in work and Jose rollering.  The final result is that my living room walls look gorgeous!

I will use this company again and certainly hope I get this same team of Jose, Armando and Abdias!  They worked well as a team, were very knowledgeable about their work and were a joy to have in my home.

The work performed in the house was excellent.  Mr Lemus and his assistant went up and above to performed the work. He indicated to us that the work we actually wanted done could not be performed before the wallpaper paste was removed from the walls.  Therefore, we authorized him to remove the wallpaper paste in lieu of the original request to repair the wallboard for a fresh coat of paint.  He also indicated that to minimize any mildew/mold in the powder room to use a stainblocker prior to the wallboard repair and final coat of paint.  He recommended the type to use.  In addition, he repair a hole in the ceiling of the den that needed to be repaired.  His work was excellent and done in a professional manner.

What I was not satisfied with was the lack of responsiveness with the scheduling/estimating portion of the company.  Because of scheduling on both ends, it took over a month after purchase to arrange for a representative to come to the house to evaluate the work we were requesting to be done.  At that time, the representative indicated that the work would take additional time up and above the 3 hours requested and indicated the additional cost per hour.  I also asked him to review other areas in the house that required wallboard repair.  The areas were shown and he took a few pictures.  I requested an estimate to perform  all of the work including the additional work.  In addition, when on site for the 3 hours work purchased, Mr. Lemus indicated that he would have his representative contact us with an estimate to finish the work required in the powder room upon completion of our painting the room with a stainblocker.   As of this date, we have not been provided the additional information requested.
