This was not a simple refresh — it involved removing an existing hot tub, renovating a cabana, reworking the deck framing to convert it into a single-level deck, installing a new staircase, and adding a cable rail system. Every aspect of the project was approached with precision and care, and the finished product is without flaw. They were easy to work with from start to finish, handling decisions and mid-project modifications thoughtfully and professionally. "Ocean Break Remodel started our renovations in the Fall of 2020. Peter and his crew tore down our existing front porch and steps and replaced it with a new construction with trex decking and vinyl railings and posts. Their work was outstanding. Later that Fall they removed our hot tub in our master bathroom and replaced it with a beautiful fully tiled walk in shower. It came out wonderful. They also put down waterproof vinyl flooring in both of our bathrooms. They installed backsplash on the two long walls of our kitchen. Each task - OUTSTANDING work. This past two weeks (June 2021), they painted our utility room, kitchen ad dining room, put new waterproof vinyl flooring in the kitchen and utility room. This past two weeks they also built us a new deck (20' x 25') of gray trex decking with white vinyl railings and posts. Our new deck is fantastic. We are more, more than totally satisfied with Peter of Ocean Break Construction/Remodel. I can not express enough for Peter and his crew. They are a pleasure to work with, they are very punctual, clean and hard working."

"We had the aging cement board siding on our house painted with dark grey. We had a very large area to paint. Single thick coat looks real good. Workers first washed house down. After drying, all trim abutting cement board was sealed. Then several workers banged out house painting in 1 1/2 days. I was amazed at how quick they worked with diligence. a few days later a couple workers returned to paint the front door (no extra cost). They also recoated paint on the the columns and painted trim boards around the front porch without us asking. Work was very professional and thorough. The price was very reasonable and the payment schedule was broken down in manner agreeable for both us and PLJ. "I contacted 14 contractors over the course of 2 and 1/2 years to replace and paint exterior trim that was causing leaking into our unit and the unit below. No one else would take the job due to the degree of difficulty. They had to do the work on the back of the building using 60 foot ladder and 50 foot on the front of the building in frigid weather during late December and early January. It was not cheap, but reasonable due to the conditions to take on the job. They not only replaced and painted all trim where necessary, but prepped and painted all the trim on the back of the building and some extra on the front at no extra charge. Very pleased."
