However, because it was their mistake, they were able to come to the house after 5 pm so that I didn't have to miss work again for the installation. "They came out to do my gutters. Unfortunately, by the time they got here the gutters were frozen. They tried to come back a week or so ago and the gutters were still frozen. They are going to come back later but, so far so good. They were able to do the front gutters because those had got the sun. The rear of the house is shady side and so they were still frozen. I gave them a B because it took them longer to get here. I think they positioned themselves that they had to deal with frozen stuff, that's probably because they were busy. They will take of me and so, I am fine. It was a very good price. They were here when they said they would be here."

So I called NE Renovation to see if they could fix it.  They asked me about my problem and the name of the faucet however the name plate was worn and I could not determine the name so I did not know the type of faucet it was. A technician came to my house and in seconds after seeing the faucet knew exactly what was needed. He returned a week later with new faucet parts and quickly replaced the failing parts. 

He was very professional and helpful in describing what he was doing. The repaired faucet works beautifully. I would definitely use them again on any project that I need help with.

"These guys are the greatest! They saved us a lot of money! We had a dumpster before the bullbag and for 3 tons of material and a week rental of the dumpster it cost us $486! We own the bullbag now, had a full bag - 3.5 tons - picked up and it was only $229! We didn't have any rental charges, excess weight fees, or anything! These guys did everything they said they would! "I hired Brian owner of a Few Good Tradesmen many years ago to do some electrical work and he has since done about 20 projects for me, all of which have come in on time and within budget.  Brian is more than a contractor, he gives you ideas on how to do projects, creatively working with your space and budget . He has since done many different types of jobs from completely renovating bathrooms to building additions and rewiring a whole house. He knows how to manage crews and takes responsibility when one of the subs doesn't show up or does a poor job. He's done work for friends of mine and recently even had him at my parents house to renovate their bathroom, fix a leaky pipe, change out an electric panel and replace a storm door. There's not much he cant do, I would highly recommend Brian's services to anyone who is in need of a getting something built or repaired.

They assigned different contractors to do the construction work. One of the contractors said that the job was too big and that they could not do it, which was fine. I respect that. The secretary stated that she would try to find other contractors to do the job. The owner came and walked through the house and we spoke about what needed to be done in the house. I did not feel confident in his contractor because he seemed that he did not know what he was doing. I wanted him to do one specific thing. The owner wanted to take down the whole wall. I just wanted to reopen a small section. I started to feel like they were pushing me. For those reasons I felt uncomfortable and did not go with them. The quote was detailed.

"The job was finished over 2 days about 6-7 hours the first day for wall paper removal and painting and about the same the second day for flooring. They left the space clean and were helpful in moving furniture to new locations.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
