We had done several smaller projects "DIY" but when it came to knocking down several walls to renovate our kitchen, we knew we wanted to hire trusted professionals. We had looked at 2 other contractors before deciding to proceed with Perry Bros. Every member of the crew was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We lived in the house during construction and the crew did a great job keeping the work area clean after each day of work. There were several situations throughout the project that required us to change and adapt our plans. Each time, the Perry Bros crew provided helpful guidance and recommendations. There were a few scenarios where they helped accommodate slight changes to stay within our budget. We were very pleased with how everything turned out, and would definitely hire Perry Bros again in the future."

"I was buying a new house, the home inspector had some questions about the attic joists and suggested I have a professional take a look at them. I needed it done quickly and I called three contractors. Matt from MMP was the only one that called me back the same day and agreed to come look at them the next day. He showed up on time, suggested a remedy and gave me an estimate. After buying the house I had him complete the work. It was done as promised in a very tight and dirty attic space, they cleaned up before leaving. I also chose Matt to replace my roof after getting three estimates. The crew did the complete job, chimney flashing, ice and water shield, small roof repair and venting channels in the attic. Clean up was great, no mess left in the yard. He was not the lowest estimate but all the work was done without any additional charges. I was very pleased with the results."

"George is absolutely the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is pleasant, professional, detail oriented, a great problem solver and a master at all of his crafts. He provides detailed descriptions and costs of all the work to be done. He and his crew completely gutted the kitchen in our 1890 Victorian home. Because of settling, our floors and ceiling were less than level. George and his crew were brilliant about solving the issue. No more slanted floors and squeaks. He made the installation of the cabinetry look effortless. He also created a much needed laundry room for us. We absolutely love our kitchen. George and his crew are a delight to work with."

They act as a general contractor and you can be as little or as much as involved as you want. For things we had strong opinions on we met with the subs also. "I highly recommend NE Carpentry for quality of workmanship, professionalism, and good communication from beginning to end. We had four old windows replaced, two in a rental apartment where the tenant was working. The workers were sensitive in keeping noise and disruption to a minimum. Wood was replaced where necessary around window frames, all was painted at completion, and cleanup left all in order. The two workers, as well as Gil, were a pleasure to work with and to have in our home. We had NE Carpentry renovate two back porches two years ago. "I had a similar experience to others who have reviewed Ayotte Home Improvements. I hired them for a complete kitchen and mudroom remodel. Bob and his sidekick are the two main characters and they have a group of very competent sub contractors that they bring in depending on your project requirements. From the initial meeting to completion, Bob was very easy to work with. He is fully engaged during the process, keeps you informed, keeps the project moving, and insists on high quality. In my opinion you can't go wrong with them."

"Antonio and his crew remodeled our front hall, completely relocated /
rebuilt our kitchen, and converted our 3 season porch into a heated
sun room. They did everything from the demo work to the final touches of
installing the back splash.
Antonio and his crew, (and I'm lumping in his
subs for the plumbing and electrical parts here), did an outstanding
job on our renovation project. Renovation projects can be stressful and
Antonio did a great job through the whole project. He was always
reachable when we had a question or a concern and always made it a
priority to make sure we were satisfied with the results. In some cases that meant working with us on what we wanted, leaving out samples for us to look at when we got home, or even sending picture text messages to make sure it's what we wanted before doing it. It's those types of things that make a big difference in the final result.
All renovation project encounter problems. In our case we had a few design
issues as well as delays with our counter tops that held up plumbing install and a few other things. First off these are problems that were not caused by
  Antonio's team but rather reinforce the need to hire a team like them who can help you through it and work around it.
Finding the right contractor is as much
about personality fit as it is about finding one with the right skill set. I'm going to level with you. My wife and I can be tough customers. An engineer and   and architectual designer by trade, I'll admit we can be picky about certain parts of the project. Maybe that's an understatement, I don't know, but more importantly I think that says something about our contractor. You have to Antonio for his patience, attention to detail and pride in his work. They were evident throughout the project and most importantly in the final result. I have no reservations about hiring him and his team again for future work to our home.
