"We are extremely happy with the job Chris and co. did in replacing our old concrete walkway with bricks. They worked neatly and efficiently and Chris helped us see our vision clearly. He’s a great guy, and has very fair pricing. We hope to use him on a project in the future. Deb D Bedford"

"Liam, Brian and their team were very professional, and excellent communicators. They could always be depended on to show up when they said that they would be here (or early even), and finish either on time or ahead of schedule. For each step along the way, they explained what they were doing, and called us out to see each phase of the work as it was progressing. I highly recommend LBJ Masonry."

"We hired Michael and his team to replace our front walk and back patio. For the front walkway, they removed all of the old bricks and stacked them neatly out of the way in the woods, and then leveled everything and installed new pavers. They also used mortar to set the edging in place. They had to remove the old sand and brought in aggregate and stone dust as a base. In the back, they re-used the old bricks but had to remove everything, level it out, and then re-install. New aggregate and stone dust here too. Completed everything in three days and worked very long hours (7am to 7 pm). We made a few small adjustments along the way and the guys were very accomodating. Would definitely hire this crew again."

"Al and Nick did a wonderful job on replacing our walkway that’s was 25 years old. They were on time and on budget. What more can you ask for!"

"Great, timely, courteous and a great job."

"Had Henry remove a 12-15 inch thick 5x5 slab of concrete that needed to be removed. He showed up very quickly and knocked it out in a few hours with cleanup and haul away. Very professional and keeps you updated the whole time. Highly recommend."

"The owner and crew from Magalhaes were some of the most professional hard working masonry contractors I have ever worked with. We needed a new front walkway, training walls and some cobblestones to line the edges of our new dry. They helped us plan and design the walkway, walls and 2 new steps. They found just the right colts and pattern we were looking for. If you needed masonry work this is the company you should hire you will be very pleased with the work and the prices were very fair."

"My backyard had a failing timber wall that the previous owner had propped up with posts, and had allowed it to lean into rapidly deteriorating shed. Jim's crew came in, removed the shed and timber wall, and also removed an intact but inadequate stone wall extending from the backyard to the street, a total distance of around 40 feet. He replaced that entire length with a beautiful split-faced masonry wall and poured a new concrete walkway to improve access to the backyard. Jim is the ultimate professional. He takes great pride in his work, loves to talk masonry and answer questions about the project, and is very transparent about pricing. The walkway was an add-on to the original project scope due to some unexpected circumstances uncovered during excavation, but he explained this at length and took photos so I could see why the additional work was required. I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend his services."

"The patio refurbishment job was excellent, and we particularly commend the expertise and dedication of the two stone workers who worked in the pouring rain for much of the afternoon and early evening. It was easy to contact the supervisor and to negotiate a slight modification in the scope if the work due to unexpected factors. The final result is gorgeous. Highly recommended company."

"This business showed up when they promised and completed all the projects in a timely manner, also in a kind, respectful and friendly way and with precision! They executed each project the right way. I have received many compliments on the beautiful stone work J& D Stoneworks built here!"
