"I gave a B for price because I didn't "shop around". and I didnt shop around because Fegan Door (FD) came highly recommended and the reviews here was enough. (not to mention I wanted to get into my garage!) so take the cost, with that in mind. everything was top notch and professional. they were early, installed and tested the opener and programmed the keypad for us too. he also surveyed, at our request, the current door on the garage. He said we had a few good years left with it and replaced a bolt or two. WHICH IS AWESOME and frankly, that right there is why Id recommend them to anyone AND make sure I use them when my door finally gives out on me. thank you for being honest and a great experience - rather than being left feeling "taken for a ride" bravo, keep it up!"

"I called early in the morning and the work was completed that afternoon. The service was excellent and the technician, Chris, was friendly and professional. Unlike other door companies I have had over the years, they did not try to up sell me on service or parts that I did not need. I thought the price was very fair and I would definitely hire them again. Overall, an excellent experience."

"The owner's name is Bill and he at first gave me a quick quote for a couple of options over the phone based on my description of what I needed.  He told me if I wanted he could come by and check everything to be sure.   I told him that was alright, but after getiing higher prices from 2 other providers on Angie's List, I called him and asked him to come out to be sure the price was accurate.   <br /> The following day he arrived as scheduled and checked everything out.  He actually disagreed with an assessment by another provider that a custom door (and more expensive) was needed, based on his 30+ years experience installing garage doors.  He offered non-insulated and insulated doors as options.  He preferred insulated doors because of their solid structure and dent-resistance but I was hesitant on spending the extra money on insulated doors for a detached garage with no heat. <br /> He offered me a great deal on the insulated doors (two-sided steel) because he felt I would be happier with them long-term and he offered to put in a keypad and lock release at additonal no charge.  We agreed with a handshake,  He said he would be by 3 days later and the job would be done by 1pm, and said I could leave the check with someone if I wasn't home.  Three days later he arrived as scheduled and the job was done by noon.  I wasn't home so he took the time to demonstrate how the openers work to my brother-in-law. <br /> He also hauled away the old wooden doors.  The doors work perfectly and quietly with apparent attention to detail.  I got a higher quality door than the two other quotes I received, for a lot less money.  I really recommend Edgewood Door Company. <br />"

"Following a few "problems" (wrong door size ordered resulting in very long wait for arrival and installation). (the fact that we wanted a black door which I understand is not standard also was a factor in the time waited.) When correct size finally came in the installation went nicely. Very competent, personable, thorough installer (Mike). Nice cleanup afterward also. Finally the door itself is quiet, love the LED light and belt drive rather than chain, and so much better than the original door. Based on the above (aside from the few annoying "hiccups") , I'm satisfied and would recommend Pezza Garage Doors."

"If you are planning any sort of extensive renovation, you are going to be spending a lot more time that you think with your contractor.  I recommend you do yourself a favor and make that contractor Bruce at KBA Contracting.  You can look around and spend your time interviewing others, but you will not find another contractor who performs the same quality of work, is as responsive, or is as nice of a guy as Bruce is.  You could certainly find cheaper, but, honestly, you get what you pay for.  Bruce's prices were competitive with the other contractors that we would have actually considered to handle the work in our home. <br /> Bruce is full of ideas so be prepared to fully explain what you are looking for.  Bruce will give you his honest opinion (which is mostly spot on) but in the end will always complete the job to your specifications (aside from safety considerations).  Bruce was able to work with our insurance company to get us the maximum amount of money to cover the work in our home.  When an unexpected expense, not originally included in out original insurance award came up, we did not even have to speak to anyone at the insurance company.  Bruce made all the phone calls and within a week we had a check covering the full expense of the additional gutter damage discovered during the course of the work.  When unexpected structural concerns were discovered in our children's playroom, Bruce worked with us on the price.  Bruce worked with us on all aspects of the project to ensure we could accomplish what we wanted within our budget.  Bruce was even willing to work with the guys from Geek Squad to make sure our surround sound system would be installed correctly. <br /> Bruce's team was always courteous from his roofers, to his electrician, and his carpenter, Rob, is amazingly talented.  The work completed on our home-- opening the floor plan and refinishing the floors-- looks absolutely stunning.  We are planning further renovations to our home down the line, including exterior work, and kitchen and bathroom renovations.  There will be no need to even think about who we will call when it is time for us to do the work.  Hiring KBA is a no brainer. <br />"
