"The crew that showed up to complete the repair was professional and courteous.  We were happy with the finished product.  What was unsettling was the drama we had to endure to get to a fair price and repair date.  The estimator that was sent tried to up-sell us on repairing the majority of our bathroom, which was completely unnecessary.  If you do the "hollow test" by tapping a wooden handle on a tile, you can hear which ones are hollow.  After speaking with the owner, who was equally as pushy, arrogant, and rude (per conversations my wife and I had with her on separate occasions), I was able to get a price adjustment for what we needed completed.  Separately, I had asked for a quote for a tile installation in another room (which took several phone calls, mostly unreturned, to get the installer to even come look at the room).  It came in at $750 for 36 square feet, whereas a reputable Angies List provider completed the job for $400.  I wanted to share this experience with other Angies List members so that they are prepared going in.  It shouldn't be this difficult!

"Davide was outstanding in every regard. He politely advised me that he'd be running a few minutes late, was prepared to do the work when he arrived and took time talking to me about exactly how I wanted the towel rack to look and what my options were. He hung it perfectly, even installing a washer so it wouldn't wobble on the wall. He took the door hinges off and spent quite a bit of time trying to repair them so that the door would close properly. After much effort, he advised me that at least one of the hinges was in disrepair and needed to be replaced. He explained what my husband needed to purchase and how to ensure a proper fit on the door. I am extremely pleased with his work and his pleasant demeanor. I would not hesitate to hire him again, and I highly recommend him to those that need handyman work performed."

Clean and neat, perfectionists, and honest.  If they couldn't work due to rain or weather, I wasn't charged for the time.  All of their work was as good as it could be, and if it didn't look right, they re-did it.  I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any work around the house.

"Billy (owner) is great. He was responsive and followed up with me after providing an estimate, We even made a change mid job (additional slab area) and Billy was cool with that. His crew (Chad & Josh) are outstanding, nice guys, who speak English (their first language) and everybody was professional, reliable and quality work was done as planned. Same with the chain link guy. Very nice gentleman. Everybody speaks English. In So FL that’s getting rare. Don’t go with the cheapest estimate. You really do get what you pay for in this business. Even so prices were reasonable. Great group of guys. I can only hope they are still in business for my next repair/upgrade. You will not be sorry if you choose these guys to do your work."

"Little did we realize when we purchased our home that the shower in the master bath had been improperly constructed, creating moisture-rot and degradation to structural a support joist under our house. Fortunately, we discovered the problem before any permanent damage had occurred, but finding the right contractor for such an important job wasn't all that simple. Our one trusted contractor had moved, and therfore was unavailable. Calling Arthur Forrest with Faith Construction was, to me, a bit of a risk, as his company had less than a half-dozen reviews on Angie's List--although they were all A-ratings. But I was searching for a list of qualifications--the perfect combination of knowledge and skill, communication and customer service skills. And I hoped to find someone who actually cared about his work and reputation. I believe I found all I was looking for when I met Arthur Forrest. He returned my call right away. Check. Rather than delaying his estimate, he worked us into his schedule to come take a look at the problem, and was able to give us his professional opinion within 24 hours. Check. His price was quite fair. Check. Everything he presented to me seemed to line up with the positive reviews I had read about him, as he seemed to care about the work, and put in the time to assessing the problem and getting the proposed solution right. Check. The work was done under my husband's scrutiny, who is not always easy for contractors to please. But by the end of the job, which was done on time and on budget, my husband had nothing but wonderful things to say about the quality of the job. Faith Construction had gone above and beyond to ensure that their work was done to his satisfaction, and done right, without cutting any corners. Mr. Forrest has left me with the string impression that he is an ethical man with a deep concern for his customers' satisafaction, and his company's reputation. After seeing what he is capable of accomplishing, and having experienced how this company conducts business, I have no reservations in recommending Faith Construction to anyone who wants a job done right. "We had trouble finding a contractor to come look at the project let alone give a good quote. Eric and Mike came out, told me exactly what they would do, and we sealed the deal with a handshake. Eric did send a formal quote for exactly what he said but ended up doing a little more at no additional charge. They did find more damage that what we had intended, but he called me, told me what the issue was, and how much it was going to cost. For that additional unexpected work, he charged me for materials only. Fair and honest. Very rare here in South Florida. They were very conscientious about keeping the work are clean, and made sure the job site was spotless every day at the end of the day. The work they did was outstanding and we are very happy with the end result."
