His estimate was reasonable, clear and concise and he never tried to upsell or add to what we wanted. He gave an honest opinion and recommendation of the work to be done, the timeframe, and the cost, along with possible alternatives that would best suit us. The time he spent with us that day and his willingness to listen and answer all our questions made us feel very confident that finally, we had an answer to our prayers! We started out with a fairly small project and after seeing firsthand how Brandon and his crew handled everything, we felt confident to add to our list. It was in middle of summer 2019, hotter than you can imagine inside my house even with 2 portable a/c units running in LR trying to mitigate some of the heat while waiting on my a/c company to help me. Stacy came out quickly diagnosed the problem right away, my unit was dead (I had been nursing it over last few years) but I couldn’t purchase a new unit until I got in a place to fund a house remodel. So, I needed a used 5 ton unit - not an easy ask, but Stacy found one and installed it w/in 24 hours for a price that did not break the bank (about the same cost as 2 top of the line portable air conditioners, which I returned!) Such a relief to find a company that was fairly priced, timely, honest, and strong communication throughout the job completion. lWhen looking for a contractor you need someone who is going to spend the time to write up a detailed estimate and be knowledgeable about what will be involved in the remodel and/or repair. Go to Lewis & Company who will get the job done the right way, the first time, and in the time promised! To respect the time it takes to provide a proper estimate, Lewis & Company requires a small service charge for a formal estimate. To me, it was well-worth the charge as it showed me they were committed to providing me with an accurate estimate and it gave me an idea of how thorough James and his crew would be in completion of the job. James also did a detailed walk-through of the work I was interested in completing and gave me useful, honest, and practical advice regarding my budget constraints. James and Lewis completed about $15K of home repairs/upgrades in preparation for putting my parent's home on the market. All my interactions with both James and his employees were great and I felt comfortable with them in my home. There was always good communication with me regarding when they would be coming. There was about a 3 week wait for the initial meeting, 1 month for the detailed estimate, and about 2 months for the work to start- but this was told to me upfront (and I was willing to wait for this company) and I was always kept in the loop if there was going to be a delay. Once the job started, it was completed on fast and on schedule. I was super happy with the work they provided and so relieved to have found a company I could trust in home remodels or builds."
