"Great team to work with, quality work, they go out of their way to please the customer. We were doing a living room and front deck expansion project and Paul and his team delivered a beautiful completed project and on budget. I have already recommended Triple D to two other friends for assisting them with their current projects."

"Noah and his team are truly wonderful to work with. Noah kept in close contact with us and was able to add items we decided on during the project. We couldn’t be happier with the final product. We have already contracted Chumbley Construction to remodel our bathroom based on this experience."

"Great husband and wife team, very nice people. They completed the work per the estimate. The only thing not up to my expectations was their follow through in getting back to me. First with the estimate, which came 2 days after I was told I would have it. and after the work on my sliding door was finished, they were supposed to get back to me on whether or not they could find new wheels for the door. They said I should hear the next day, it's been over a month and I never heard back from them."

"<p>I really liked the lady that came out. She came out the day I called and gave us an estimate and placed the order.</p> <p>It was supposed to take 6 weeks and we were prepared for that. But 6 weeks came and went and so we called. They apparently had some other order in that was really large and they weren't quite finished with that before they started our one awning. So that upset us a little bit but when they actually come out to install it, they took I forget how much percent off the cost of the awning! So it was made more than fair. So they really stood by what they offered. And it was a legitimate reason, they didn't just blow us off because we only had one awning. But they really made it fair to us.</p> <p>They are nice people. I really liked them and I would absolutely use them again. </p>"

"Spoke with Wes about potential project, and our special interest in retractable walls. He was very straight-forward and clear about things that go into overall cost of sunroom (size, height, type of glass, doors, windows, glass to floor or pony wall, all walls plus roof of glass, or part traditional materials) plus 2-3'footers under all walls of the structure, and addition by HVAC for heat and dehumidification. Their sunrooms are efficient enough to take down an exterior wall of the house, and have the sunroom serve as the exterior wall. Others that have low energy efficiency by WA laws must maintain a door between house and sunroom. Ballpark estimate was provided and noted that a crane may be required to life beams in place. Global Solariums in Vancouver, WA manufactures the sunrooms, and Wes speaks highly of the engineer that reviews the design plans. I was very impressed with his clarity and concern that I have a good understanding of likely cost and why. We agreed that I would contact him if and when we are ready for a site visit, which we will do if we decide to proceed. At this point, the cost is too high for us to proceed. (ballpark est. $100K-with 76K for sunroom at past year's average cost per square foot of roughly 170/sf ($120/sf and higher than $170/sf which again varies by the list provided), plus 24K for HVAC and concrete. I love when information is provided without high pressure or manipulation, It shows respect for the customer, and it speaks to the integrity and honesty you can expect when the job is getting done."

"Lisa is a genius! With creativity and precision, she maximized every nook and cranny of our tiny 1906 cottage and brought it into the 21st century, while maintaining its original charm and character. Our "new" home is so much more functional now, and a delight to live and work in. Lisa took the lead on our projects (kitchen, bathroom, basement), but Adam is equally savvy. Both are fantastic listeners, brainstormers, collaborators, total professionals and all-around lovely human beings. We highly recommend Christie Architecture, and look forward to working with them again in the future!"

"I had a microwave that was mounted too low over my gas stove. When I used the stovetop, the exhaust fan on the bottom of the microwave would start automatically, and run the whole time to try to dispel the heat. <br /> Dave and his son arrived on time, and fully supplied. They followed my drawings exactly and removed the microwave and a particlewood/laminated cabinet over the stove, then moved the unit up 4and quot; to meet code, and created a shelf for cookbooks in place of the cabinet. <br /> They were polite and efficient, and cleaned up the area when they were done. I was able to use the stove without the exhaust fan starting up. Yeah! <br /> <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in North Plains, OR

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
