"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

Geoff’s proposals are detailed and well organized which allow the homeowner to understand exactly what every aspect of the job will cost, not just a lump sum amount that you get on an envelope from some contractors. Pegasus is everything you look for in a contractor: honest, professional, trustworthy, punctual, fair and most importantly – focused on customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. You pay a little more for their services but the overall result is worth it. Jane is their architect who did a beautiful job optimizing our space and gave us many options to choose what was best for our needs. Mike is the project manager and from our viewpoint he is by far the best project manager in New England’s home improvement industry. Mike told us several times, ‘we just want to make you happy’, and he made sure that we were. Mike’s communication, follow-through and professionalism are first rate. If he says he will do it, he will. When he says he will be there, he will. With Mike on the job you have no worries.</p> <p>Geoff has spent a lot of time putting together the subcontractors that perform to the highest standards.  From the framers, to the painters, his subs did an outstanding job with only one exception. His granite/counter sub was not up to the standards of his other subs, but Geoff and his team continue to work tirelessly to ensure this very last detail of the job will meet our high standards. Pegasus’s lead carpenter, Francisco, is a very conscientious and professional finish/trim carpenter. He will always make things right for you. He takes his time, but it shows in the result. With any job, the difference is in the details and Francisco keeps this in mind for everything he does. He even took the time to show me how to frame a window. Marc and Duane also showed great skill and care as they contributed immensely to the overall result. Lucimar did an absolutely outstanding job on the tile work. For a young guy he showed old world craftsmanship, something missing in today’s trades. All of the remaining trades, electricians, plumbers, HVAC, siding, sheetrock and plaster all did what was expected of them.  All of them took the time to explain what they were doing and why and were very polite in answering all of our questions. If you needed a little something extra, they accommodated us no questions asked. There are always minor issues but nothing that Mike could not rectify in a very timely and fair manner.</p> <p>One aspect that was very important to us was that Geoff has an online project management tool that allows the homeowner to login and see the real-time status of the project. You can view the project schedule, send a message, attach a document or picture, review the change orders, see the financial statement, etc. Very cool tool – worth every penny.</p> Bottom line is we would definitely hire them again, unfortunately we have no more projects for them to do, but that shouldn’t stop the readers of this review to give Geoff a call and know that you have made the right decision. "Wallpaper removal = A; plastering = A-; painting: C+. We were disappointed in the overall experience. They were kind enough and their wallpaper removal and plastering was great, really solid—but on the final day, they rushed with the painting to get it done on the original time frame, and while one room was top notch, another was above average, and the bathroom was very sloppy. There was wall paint on our bathroom tiles, vanity, and shower; unsanded/unsmoothed plaster chunks that were just painted right over and were unsightly and lumpy; peeling caulking; parts where the paint was crooked or misaligned with baseboards; paint dribbles on floor and utensils on counter; and they did a poor job cleaning up, with plaster dust everywhere, paint to be cleaned up in the bathroom, and paint and plaster dust in, on, and around our cabinets. One of the crew members’ painting skills was just rushed and poor and it detracted from the others’ skills. By the time the job was over they rushed to get out of the house and did not carefully complete a walkthrough."
