"On Thursday, the technician (David) came to my house to look at two projects: replacing a leaking electric water heater, and installing a new gas line (in my crawlspace) to my masonry fireplace so I can convert from wood to gas logs. He explained my options, and quoted prices for these options. I asked if he could do the work on the upcoming Saturday, and he scheduled this before he left! I ordered the gas tankless water heater and the gas line to my fireplace. By the way, I had 3 different plumbers look at this work, WyattWorks had the lowest prices. On Saturday David and Alex arrived early in the morning and worked past 6:30 PM to complete both jobs. The installations were great. Everything to code, and with neat, high quality workmanship and thoroughly tested. They cleaned up the work areas and hauled away my old water heater. In other words, a typical WyattWorks job."

"After smelling a sewer type smell in my house, I realized that my crawl/basement was flooded with sewer water and waste, a lot of it! In a panic I grabbed the phone book and found a plumber that could be out as soon as possible, it happened to be Mr. Rooter. The plumber came out within an hour and was very professional with the situation. He then quoted the job to snake the sewer drain for about $250 and recommend we scope the drain for an additional $100. Although this did seem like a steep price, we being new owners weren’t quite sure what to do, considering the 4 inches of sewer water and excrement in our basement we just wanted the job done ASAP. Well, needless to say we WAY OVER-PAID!! Now don’t get me wrong the job was done and the water drained but about a day or two after the job was completed and the amount of $350 was paid to the plumber, my sister told me she had the exact same service done for $189 and my parents had theirs done for $250. I wasn’t aware that the rates between different plumbing companies varied so widely and I really feel like they took advantage of me. I did call the company and I explained the situation and I was told “those are just our rates.” Well I hope other consumers can read this review and steer clear of a company that charges WAY over their competitors for 45 minutes of work."
