A bit disappointing, I don't know if it's Angie's Lists' fault or what, but I input I needed an electrician, and their name popped up. They need to put something in their description that there is a job $ minimum and what that minimum is."

They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

They coordinated all subs, listened carefully to our wishes, and worked hard to keep costs down while still providing superb work. Greg is very fastidious about keeping the construction site clean and protecting your existing floors and carpets from construction while Connie is in constant contact to keep you up to date on the arrival and departure of subs. Everything turned out beautifully and we are using them again for our next project - the kitchen! <br />"

"I called Quantum to come give me a price for replacing my roof.  They sent out Gerry Nemet to take a look at the scope of work.  After spending some time up on the roof, he came down with pictures of what he had found.  I had no idea that I had storm damage!  He said that he only has people file claims that have real damage and explained that there are many people filing false claims and driving up the insurance costs.  Although he could not make any promises, he was very confident that it would be approved and I would only have to pay my $1000 deductible to have my entire roof replaced. <br /> Gerry told me exactly what to do and was here to meet with the insurance adjuster.  They walked the roof and around the house together.  Just as Gerry had said, there was considerable damage to the shingles.  Damage that could not be seen from the ground.  The roof was approved! <br /> I was able to take some of the money that I had planned on spending on a roof, and get gutters, gutter guards and my deck redone.  All the work done by Quantum. <br /> They did not take any payment up front and were done in three days.  As promised.  Gerry was very helpful with picking out the color and explaining all of the insurance paperwork.  It was a very quick and easy experience.  On top of everything else, they gave me a 10 year, no leak warranty on their work.  This was in addition to the shingle warranty. <br /> Thank you Angie's List.  Without you, I would have spent a fortune on a new roof and definitely would not have found Quantum Renovations! <br />"

"I met with Lee and really liked how genuine and professional he was. He took the time to explain every part of the process and why he used certain materials or did certain methods to give a more finished look. We discussed what I wanted, which was a screened in porch and grill deck. I wanted to do it in phases and he was more than willing to accommodate. He spec'd out the new deck with materials that would support my end goal, but allowed me to do it in 2 phases - first - the whole deck at once. The area that will eventually be closed in and the grill deck. He set proper expectations as to timing, and was fair in pricing. He also communicated very well when discussing schedule, etc. He is not the cheapest guy in town, but I will vouch that you get what you pay for as the quality was amazing. His crew came out and demo'd the old deck and cleaned up everything. They also built the new deck in 4 days and cleaned up along the way so I didn't have to worry about old nails/screws, etc. I am very pleased with my new deck and will definitely be using Alabama Decks in the future to close in my porch and quite likely for other work as they do siding and windows. I highly recommend this company to anyone."

"We researched 2-3 local general construction companies and Pickett Construction was the most engaged and reasonably priced. Our lead contractor was well organized and kept the project on task despite us not setting any hard deadlines for completion. He listened well to our requests and did his best to meet our needs. We communicated on a daily basis and often multiple times by text message and emails. Our lead person was quick to respond and would come onsite regularly and on an as needed basis. The crew was professional and courteous. We felt safe with them in our home while we were at work. With any construction, there will be miscommunication or issues that arise. Our lead person was always quick to address any concerns or issues, either with the crew correcting the issue or redoing the work to our liking. Our lead and his crew anticipated needs based on their experience (e.g. placement of light switches, plugs, etc.) and kept us abreast of daily progress. We would highly recommend Pickett Construction for any of our future remodeling needs. <br />"
