"Jared from Apex roofing called because he was running late. I appreciate that. When he arrived (only about 5 min late) he said he could do the job right then. Replaced the ridge shingles that had blown off. I had shingles. He also walked the roof and fixed a minor loose shingle. Cost $150. This was a great job. I had received estimates for the job ranging from $1,425 to $800. This was a simple job as Jared proved. Apex is not out to pull the wool over your eyes and charge much more than the job requires. I will use them again when needed."

Some never called back, some would only quote a full roof replacement (mine is 3 years old!), some wanted to sell annual maintenance plans. Terry at Home Time called me within 4 hours, met me at home the next morning, and completed the project for 1/4 of other quotes I received. He inspected the entire roof and repaired a number of nail pops that I wasn't even aware of. Only complaint is that the color matching of new shingles is slightly off. I can notice it from the street, but only because I know where to look. Not sure if a casual visitor would notice."
