"Robert took on a very difficult project. Our home is a Chicago landmark, and thus we needed to handle our old clay tiles with care; individually removing them and cleaning them so that the roof could be replaced. The roofers then reinstalled the entire clay system after removing an old obsolete chimney and tuckpointing another one. They also sanded down or repaired many aging soffits and fascia, replaced that which had been destroyed or rotted. We had a number of changes along the way, so we had to negotiate as we went and Robert was reasonable in those discussions. As a final note, we quoted out five contractors. Two said our project was too difficult. Two others didn't return my requests for the proposed work; and I wasn't surprised given how pessimistic they were about their ability to accomplish our project. Thanks Robert and team for doing this work."

"Estate Exteriors is the best course to replace our damaged roof . Eugene was very helpful, gave us good information and option, always very timely and communicated well with us on the next steps. The job was completed in a day. Eugene and his crew were professional, polite, cleaned the job site completely and gave us a beautiful new roof. We're most appreciative of their work and the results. We are delighted we chose Eugene’s company and would highly recommend his company to anyone in need of a new roof installed to the highest standards."

"I really could not have asked for better administrative and management service. The actual work and the carpenter himself was equally as great. The carpenter was creative in delivering a great product. I would like to assume that some carpenter would have charged a bit less, but it would not have been worth the savings to either get inferior service, a headache, or a questionable product."

"I had a very positive experience with this roofing company when we needed several roofing issues addressed. Our flat roof had developed leaks, visible deterioration, and other signs of roof damage, so we contacted them to find out whether repair would be enough or if we needed a complete roof replacement. The team carried out a detailed inspection and explained their findings clearly. They recommended repairing the areas that could be restored while replacing the sections that were too damaged. The flat roof repair and roof replacement work were both completed professionally. I was particularly impressed with the preparation involved. The crew checked the roof surface carefully, addressed underlying issues, and made sure the new materials were installed properly. They also paid attention to drainage and other areas that can cause problems with flat roofs."

"I, as well as my roof and soffits, were in a sorry state. For approximately 2 months I had been trying to get an idea of what the problems were that had led to my soffits rotting out and detaching from their underlying structures. I had gotten several opinions from several different (allegedly highly regarded) roofers, and their analyses all seemed either half-baked or entirely absent. Most times, the prospective team leaders failed to even climb up on the roof to inspect the roof for possible causes of the roof’s dysfunction. My spouse found Thomas at BUK Roofing thru Angie’s List and I called. Thomas was enthusiastic, straightforward, energetic, smart, and dependable. He went up on the roof and wrote up an analysis that made sense. He then proposed a solution that made sense. Perhaps most importantly, he returned calls and followed through with 100% compliance (as to what he had previously said he would do). It was a pleasure having his team do the job. I will hire Thomas and his team for any future roofing needs."

"We were very pleased with the work that Lake County Roofs completed. They were punctual and efficent and the new roof looks great. They will be coming back in another week or so to install the new gutters. Would definitely recommend them to others!"

"Great roof, great installation, A+"

"I can unequivocally recommend McCann Window and Exteriors for residential replacement windows. We hired McCann to install nearly 40 vinyl and wood windows in both 3BR apartments of our 2-flat. Kevin is knowledgeable and straightforward in the advice and recommendations he offers. For the initial quote, Kevin arrived on the scheduled day and time and was patient with us over a 2 to 3-week period as we tweaked job specifics, styles, and strategies for what was (for me as a new landlord/2-flat owner) a fairly large job. McCann’s crew took as much care in installing windows in the rental unit as they did for those installed in the owner’s unit, and this meant a lot. There was attention to detail inside and out, particularly with the sealing/caulking/seams (super important in the context of windows and durability). Kevin’s in-office presentation of options was especially informative, and it helped us understand and appreciate that he is indeed a small business owner (which we were even happier to patronize for this reason). Good email and phone communication in the lead-up and throughout the job. I wholly recommend McCann Windows if you’re considering the purchase and installation of replacement residential windows."

"Job well done Miguel’s roofing masonry was very professional done. Great job. highly recommend. thanks, Angie."
