"The faucet was leaking on my bathtub with a steady drip. After reviewing YouTube videos on how to replace the Delta cartridge, I thought it was in my capabilities to perform the work. Since I couldn't isolate the bathtub's water supply from the household water supply, and that I'm a law abiding citizen of Murhphy's Law, I couldn't see having the household water supply cut off for several hours while I tried to fix whatever predicament awaited my entanglement. Being of sound mind, I determined a professional touch might be a better plan. I called Drain Pro Plumbing Inc., and I am so happy that I did. Two workers showed up, very polite and capable, and had the cartridge replaced in no time and left no mess. I am pleased with the work they did and haven't had any problems or issues with the repair. I will definetly use Drain Pro Plumbing Inc. in the future for any plumbing concerns I may encounter."

"We hired SeaTown to replace a leaking shower. Other plumbing companies told us that we would have to tear out the entire wall of the shower because of the old fixtures. SeaTown came out, gave us an estimate and worked with us to find a solution that fit our budget. They were punctual, professional, friendly and honest. They completed the job in less than the estimated time and did quality work. We would definitely hire them again."

Small jobs welcome

"The overall experience from beginning to end was very professional! I received a prompt response to my request for removal of our gas line. Henry was very polite and kept me informed of the progress of the job with updates and pictures/video of the piping in the crawl space. He even went over and above and fixed our gas leak in our kitchen! I would truly recommend About Plumbing! Thank you."

"Work was done quickly and professionally. Were very careful to collect and/or cleanup any water drips. Had to cut wall board in laundry room to repair hose bib. Removed as small a piece as possible and replaced when finished."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Oak Harbor, WA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
