When it comes time to replace the rest and our gate we'll be giving him a call. We had put up chicken wire between our yard and the neighbors so the dogs wouldn't roam and he even re-installed it after putting the post in. Real nice guy."

"Bluegrass Construction did an excellent job with our large fence build for a half acre yard. I was impressed with the prompt service of scheduling a bid and starting the work. Justin was out every day working long hours to get the job completed in a week. Very important for our large dogs. He was professional and worked with us when we made changes to the project. He did an excellent job with the installation of three gates-one that is a 10ft double door on a slight slope. I didn’t know how it would turn out, but it is functional and beautiful. Most people think “It’s just a fence”... but it really is an extension of your home. A beautiful fence will make your house look complete. We will definitely use Bluegrass Construction, again, when we do an addition to our deck."

"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

We had a small issue with the fence. We contacted Peter, and he immediately agreed to come himself and take care of it. "We were referred to Matt/MBA Deck and Fence by a local lumber yard and were also able to see him on Angie's List. He was prompt in coming over to our home over a month ago and seemed knowledgeable about the various brands and types of composite decking materials. Unfortunately even after a number of texts exchanged we have yet to receive the quote now over a month past his visit. We can understand being busy and not able to bid at the time so the professional response would have been to inform us of that fact instead of indicating that he would quote- perhaps even offer later availability. Very disappointing especially since he received a glowing recommendation from a local lumber yard."

"Wall is lovely- BuT not as agreed upon. No gravel behind wall that I can find. West end at least 1 row too low. not color agreed upon, extra work not completed as agreed . Block to be removed and placed on garden was instead broken up and put behind block leaving large holes that animals took up residence in. metal fence posts were bent behind wall instead or removed. I never received a plan of project. Sprinkler head was removed and then end buried under wall instead of just marking where the end was. I wrote a much more detailed description but the site crashed and I do not have time to repeat. Angie's recommends that I write this review as part of the process of working out difficulties. I agreed to pay extra for the last bit of old block and few posts to be removed- which I have not done yet. They did leave the surrounding area clean. I have pictures but can not upload them into this applet"
