Get matched with top deck or porch build or replacers in Oak Park, IL

"Very pleased with the deck repair. Professional and courteous crew. Arrived on time. Completed the job in a timely manner. Cost was very reasonable. Currently repairing our bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately had a roof leak, now JT Construction is repairing the ceiling. Again, charges are reasonable. Would hire JT Construction for any future repairs or projects."

"We recently worked with Sean to redo our back deck. He was quick to provide a quote, shared multiple color and material options and was able to adjust the project and pricing based on a few changes along the way. Sean was communicative throughout the entire process, from demo to construction, and showed up when he said he would. A lot of companies will provide a quote and then send a crew to complete the work. Sean was there every step of the way to ensure the attention to detail and final product matched our expectations. If youâ re looking for a reskin or full redesign, I highly recommend working with Sean."

"J Sitko was highly responsive to our request through Angie's. Jack Sitko came out and gave us a thorough & detailed quote for our deck replacement and exterior wall/siding repair. The team was very responsive to our initial questions, and when we selected Sitko for the work took care of all the steps from design and permitting through final inspection. The crew came quickly and worked steadily throughout the whole project, even in the colder days of December. They identified numerous issues with our exterior wallboards and quickly replaced all rotting boards (a larger project than we imagined). The deck went up quickly and was exceedingly well built and secured. The team wasn't the neatest I've seen, given this was renovation to our existing living space, but were quick to haul away all construction material. Sitko took care of our punch list promptly, making sure we were completely satisfied. The whole project took less than a month, and we now have a new exterior space to enjoy come spring!"

"I submitted a request for an estimate via their website and received a response within 24 hours and was able to schedule it 1 week out. Eddie came out 15 minutes early to do look the place over and do measurements and came up with an estimate about 30% less than the competitors. I received an official contract proposal within 24 hours via email. Mike made sure to do a follow up to address any concerns and questions I had the day after I had received the emailed proposal. Contract was signed a few weeks later after I confirmed that E&B was licensed by the city. Work began close enough to the given estimated time frame (delayed 1 week due to daily severe thunderstorms) and job completion was a little under 4 weeks (there were a few days of thunderstorms that would've made it too dangerous to work). The work crew worked even during mid 90*F temperatures, much respect. Work entailed 5 lintel replacements, a entire front facade grind and tuckpoint with mortar matching closely to original with a 1 year warranty. Clean up was a power wash with masonry detergent. Throughout the process, any questions and concerns I had were promptly answered by Mike or Eddie within 2 hours of sending a text message or email. Customer service, communication and work is exemplary. I highly recommend."

"DAL did great work with our big job! They did a front and back deck replacement with additional repairs (back basement wall was in bad shape once deck came off and front window under deck needed reframing). Tim was the single point-of-contact for all the teams: concrete team for the front pad and piers, carpenter team for all the deck work, back concrete pad and piers and wall rebuild, and additional drywall team for rebuild finishing. When the need for repairs was identified, Tim clearly explained the issue and laid out options with rough cost estimates. We went with DAL because they had done a deck down the street last year that looked really good, so we didn't really shop around - that said, they probably aren't the cheapest, but any additional cost is evident in the quality of work and ease of experience! Last note - it took most of a year from contract to build start, so plan ahead!"

"I had a small job and trouble finding professional help for my small job replacing the shingles on the roof of my wood garden shed -- 12x6 size. Once I removed the tools inside to prepare for their work, I realized I also needed the floor replaced. They completed both jobs within a few hours; they cleaned up afterwards, I am now prepared for keeping my lawnmower and other tools dry and ready for next season. They were a pleasure to work with. Their price was fair."

"Fantastic. Replaced rotted wood with composite for long-term maintenance-freezes. Replaced wooden spindles with a porch wire rail system. So cool. So clean. Perfectly installed. Great communication by Greg and Tom. I recommend."

"We hired Frank and his team to install a walk in shower in place of a tub in my retired mom's condominium. We also asked that they replace the toilet and the sink top. We interviewed 3 firms, and we selected Frank. It was clear from the reviews prior and the interview that Frank was personally engaged, was intentional on having a strong team, and had commitment to our satisfaction. The work was done exceptionally well (some aspects were not so easy...), within the budget and timeline, with very high satisfaction from me, my wife and importantly my mother. Frank's team is excellent. They went above and beyond my high expectations. Frank was very easy to work with, insightful, and committed to the project going right. We definitely strongly recommend Frank and Slip Proof Safety!"
