"I hired Ultimate Remodelers because they had previously installed the front window of our townhouse. UR were quick to respond and their quote was very reasonable. They were also very patient when working with our HOA who were one day late in approving their proposal. UR courteously honored the original estimate. After instillation, the city inspector failed our inspection as "no one was home" despite me taking the day off to be there (and having heard no attempt to knock). Heather of UR contacted the city to allow me to submit photos of the installations that were then approved. The only problem we had was that the depth of one of our basement block windows wasn't fully accounted for, so it doesn't fully open which was disappointing. Mike, our salesman came to our house to talk over potential solutions and we ultimately decided to take a small but fair rebate. "Recently we hired Ardmore to replace the glass in 2 of our skylights and install a new storm door. Other than rain delays the skylights were installed in less than 2 hours as Ardmore sent 2 crews for the installation. They even came inside to vacuum any debris that might have fallen into the house during the installation. (5 out of 5). The installation of the storm doors was different. It took over 10 hours for 2 men to finish the installation which I felt was excessive and felt they didn't do the installation correctly. The difference between a good company and a better company is how well they fix a problem and to this point they are doing a better job. When I called to complain the scheduler immediately suggested they send out someone to inspect the work and within 3 days someone came out and fixed 2 out of the 3 problems and said someone would be calling me and ordering a replacement part to fix the 3rd problem"
