"Overall, we are happy with our new bathroom. It was total sticker shock when we first got the estimate and after months of not having any other company either show up or follow through with an estimate we choose Stanislaus Contruction. It was the first company weâ ve ever worked with that the different crews didnâ t let us know when they were coming. We could go a whole week without anyone showing up at the house then â surpriseâ But the only thing that matters is the bathroom looks beautiful and we are happy to have our bathroom back."

General building contractor who currently works independently and is looking to grow business to hire one employee. I do mostly carpentry and cabinet making my self. I do perform other trades depending on how much there is. I have good dependable subcontractors that I call when necessary. Depending on the size of the job, I ask for down payment and progress payments or may just wait to bill the job once it is complete.

"I had a great experience with System Pavers. They are perfect for complicated paver projects and know what they're doing. They were delayed a few days by rain, but kept to the time-fram from start to finish. The workers and foreman were very polite and friendly. I enjoyed having them here. There was a minor problem with the porch which they fixed within about a week after completing the project. One thing I would strongly recommend is that they use a wet saw for the cuts. The dust that is created from using a regular saw is unbelievable and goes everywhere. Nevertheless I am very pleased with the finished project and my experience."

"The perfect combination of understanding my concept, price, and overall finished product.  Mike Pullen (Pullen Carpentry, see www.pullencarpentry.com) did a complete remodel on my kitchen, including design and construction of custom cabinets and unique tile work.  Mike only used one sub-contractor on my job, a contractor and craftsman named Jon Young who was as  careful and considerate as he was.  Mike did the designing and created the cabinets, the two worked together on the construction, and Jon did the tile work. They were able to perfectly match the bleached driftwood finish I was looking for (no other company I talked to could or would), create a pantry/baking center that is fabulous.  No detail was missed.  The suggestions they made were creative and totally in sync with my overall hoped for end result.  They took a ratty, antiquated kitchen with hardly any counter space, and turned it into a beautiful roomy area with many touches unique to my kitchen.  They were very pleasant to have working in my home, neat (each night when they left, everything was as neat as possible), and totally dependable.  The work was completed as per the contract (although I did add some customizing of the counters and back-splashes), and the price was excellent.  I received exactly what I hoped for and more for a price that was only very slightly higher than the quote I received from one of the larger companies, who could not deliver the color cabinets I wanted, did not include the pantry and would have taken at least 3 times as long to complete, plus having various people in and out for all that time. This company exceeded my expectations and hopes in all areas.  They have also completely remodeled one of my bathrooms, to make it safer, more up to date, and provide more storage, and minor remodeling to my second bathroom which created a total transformation in appearance."

"All work was done except installing the new vanity. I verbally told him I would keep the last $1000 until He came back and installed the vanity. He said he would come right over and install it when I got it in, that he needed to pay his guys for the work that has already been done. Because he said he would come right over in two or three days to install the vanity after I got it, I believed him and I paid the last $1000."

"Babylon Builders did an awesome job of extending the cement patio in the backyard, adding beautiful flagstone, and taking up black wood mulch and replacing with colored rocks. I love looking at it..soooo beautiful. Ron the owner is a people person and takes joy in your projects. He has some really great ideas. My next project has Babylon Builders name written all over it."

"A fantastic experience from start to finish, BGL transformed our vague intentions into concrete form. We needed a soil and grass lawn converted to a rock garden with undemanding but beautiful flora. An adjacent ramp and slab needed to be replaced to correct their inclines. BGL rapidly produced a striking design and then enacted it rapidly and thoroughly. In addition to the concrete work, stone walkways were placed and a drip irrigation system was installed and integrated."
