"With the latest job John and his team completed for us, I am now able to say that for the better part of two decades, the electrical work needs of four generations of my family have been completed by 4th Generation Electric. As John and I were catching up before the install of our transfer switch and generator hook up, he recalled when we first met almost 20 years ago. From that time forward, he and his teams have completed work for my family that spanned from outlet installation and replacement, wiring our full new build construction home, inclusive of aiding with the installation of the power line from the street (which was 700 feet away from the house), outside patio electrical work for an elaborate tiered landscape, generator hook up requirements, among other things. Just as our electrical needs grew over time, and John and 4th Generation Electric have as well, the same level of attention to detail, focus on customer satisfaction, and not only the desire to strive for perfection but the expectation to do so, has been the standard that he knows not only his customers expect but that he expects for himself and his teams. "Bought a heat pump from them 3 years ago. Cooling has never worked in the summer, heating fails twice every year in winter. Even when it works it can't heat the house over 65 degrees. The problem is always the same, a leak in the line they installed. Instead of fixing the leak, they refill the refrigerant every time and charge me a few hundred dollars. Every time I have helpfully told them about the continuing leak issue, but they don't listen. Now that the heat pump is out of warranty they are recommending a $3000 repair of the problem they should have fixed three years ago."

"Our heater stopped functioning on Nov 27, 2023 and we called Petro who had done the maintenance on it before and replaced a motor two years ago. They were responsive and a technician came two days later. He worked for 3 hours without explaining what the problem was. Then said he needed to replace the motor. He fixed the problem and left without much explanation. Two days later a bill of $2500 came via email. No explanation, no break-down. I called 4 times over the last 20 days, spoke to 4 different reps and was promised that a supervisor will contact me with the bill details. Nothing happened. Irresponsible customer service and unprofessional behavior. They show all the symptoms of big, bureaucratic, and indifferent service company. I would not recommend Petro if you have options of more personalized services."
